That's why I don't really think it's true... At least I really really hope not. I would seriously cool off of Mac if that's the case. It's just ridiculous. Price increases are normal, but that's why too much :/
I would hope it isn't true but I wouldn't be surprised if it is. If any of the prices for ingredients increased...or their shipping costs (they might use this to compensate for the free shipping they give non-pro customers now...at least U.S. customers...not sure about everywhere else). That's why I wouldn't be shocked at all. We had to know that the "gift" of free shipping without needing a code couldn't truly be free...MAC might just be collecting their fee with the bigger price increase this time. Let's hope it's just a rumor though

The 20th is the international launch date. You can see at the bottom of the pic that the article linked the mac uk site. Still launching on the 18th for north america :)

From the pictures only Riri Boy and maybe Barbados Girl but Heaux looks way too much like Rebel which I already own and the change in finish isn't enough to make me want a dupe.

Depends back in which day.

There was a time when Revlon was about where MAC is today, in terms of quality (at the time) and market.

Right. They are NOT a luxury brand so they shouldn't try to start pricing themselves as if they were. Before you know it they'll be $20, then $22, then $25. I'm not expecting things to stay the same because I know prices go up, the cost of living, all of that. But will the prices go up while the brand stays the same?

Back in MY day. Mid-late 70's, early 80's when I was a young girl trying to get her first taste of makeup (gloss, shadow).
