Maybe you shouldn't keep refreshing ? and trying on different devices? Did you ladies ever think that that's what's clogging the site and making it go slow? It's making it impossible for the normal consumer to get through. I just want 2 lipsticks

So now this is OUR fault?!?! We didn't set this system up, MAC did. You should prob talk to them. And what praytell, is a "normal consumer"?

Don't refresh - if the page is still loading (like the circle thing is still... circling... in chrome) just let it be. That's what I'm doing and it's worked so far almost at the final stage of checkout.... finally!

Right I got to checkout, and then it timed out, Gateway Timeout...
what to do, refresh, wait? nothing is circling.
On my phone i got to check and hit submit and now I can't reconnect.
I'm annoyed.
I'm at work, I don't have time for this.

I wouldn't. I got the white screen for awhile then it took me to my shopping bag.

Have you been around Specktra often. We are normal here and go through great lengths of stalking etc to get what we want. No need to call people stupid.

And no one is really refreshing the page. MAC is the one refreshing the pages FOR US.

OK, NOW i'm going to rip my hair out.

My shopping cart finally showed up. But it asked me to sign in - which i did before this all started, and NOTHING is happening - i'm just sitting here and the sign in screen isn't loading cuz the MAC site is not responding.

THIS is making me crazy, not the waiting room, where i sat for 50 minutes.

Mac made me sign in like 5 times!!!!

Nope it took about 20-30 minutes for the whole process to finish but I never go the gateway timeout notification on my phone.

I was talking about the idiots who flood the site with multiple devices and keep on refreshing etc, which also takes up bandwidth and makes THEIR internet slower on top of it. And place multiple orders. Normal people would not go to these lengths and it makes it harder for the rest of us to get our damn lipsticks.

I don't think the name-calling is necessary. I'm no expert, but I think the site is flooded because it's a Rihanna collection so it's A. MAC heads like us and B. all the Rihanna fans. Everyone just wants their makeup, "normal" or not.

Made it to the checkout page then it timed out!

i was past checking out and signing in when gateway timeout occured and i clicked refresh and its taking for ever to refresh, im get scuuuuuured

Went through the waiting room TWICE! Been over an hour. Just Time Outs and crashes! I'm almost over this crap. Gonna try one more time. Then I'm done. Guess the "Guests" will get them all. Yes MAC THAT seems very fair!

basically. it was mac who came up with this system. we never had this problem before with other collections. i guess "normal consumers" arent worthy of getting the lipsticks if they have that type of attitude and should step aside let us crazy people get what we want!! hahaha muahahahahaha
