To be honest this is the first time I've officially participated in an online stalk. I'm just happier dealing with the Pro Store.I get great customer service and the store manager likes me enough to let me pre-order. I'm thinking this will be my last time doing this. As long as I've been trying to purchase my items I've been on since 10:30 am and I'm only just now getting to Page 2 of 4 to check out?



P.S. the bullshit about not being able to choose my shipping is really ticking me off.

I was too close to throwing my dang phone, laptop, and tablet against the wall!!! The waiting room was fine... it's the damn SERVERS that suck a$$! I was in the waiting room for almost 30 minutes, then I went to checkout and attempted to pay with paypal, which was fine until it came time to go back to MAC's site... 4 gateway errors and then 2 timeouts! So I tried with my phone, was in the waitroom maybe 7-8 minutes before I was able to checkout, decided to just sign in and use my card, except it kept timing out (7X) on the sign in screen. So I refreshed one last time and then tried it again on my tablet and laptop hoping ONE of them would work. By this time it's been about an hour and 40 minutes since I FIRST got on, and I guess people were saying "EFF THIS MESS" and calling it a wash, because I was in and out the waitroom and on to checking out in about 5 minutes... ON EACH SCREEN. So I ended up placing 2 orders and scraping the third just for the simple fact I refuse to give MAC anymore money right now out of spite for making this whole ordeal so tedious. Anyone trying to get their order in now shouldn't have too hard a time, especially if you're using your phone... everything seemed to process quicker that way. Good Luck!

Did you place your order today or last night? I just wonder if the orders that were placed last night are being cancelled but not the ones from today. My first order went through around 8:20am PT and it is still pending.
I placed it today around 11ish and it has not been cancelled.

Well they are completely busy....I hope they can get the shipments out soon bc with these heat I feel like these babies will melt!

Got my order in from the link before 12pm.
Trying to go in for a 2nd order and I gave up on the computer. Doesn't even go to the waiting room page it's just stuck on the "I want" front page.
The frickin iPhone is so much faster.

No cancellation on my account. I think that CS was feeding us some bull$h*%.

still haven't got a cancellation from the first order either.

I can't see any of the riri items online, I assume they are all sold out? I can't even find any of them on the canadian site. help?

Not sure if anyone had noticed but it's better & faster (not really faster but it goes though) on a phone. I had my laptop & iPhone & my laptop was still in the "waiting room" when my order went through. I've never done this for a mac collection but it was not fun, it was stressful....I was getting ready to just give up & go on with my day when it kicked over to the order. If you really wanted & are stuck in PayPal just keep refreshing if it times you out.

Ok ladies, guess I will put my two cents in... Am I the only one who thinks that it is FAIR to cancel the orders, (although I wish they would put it back in your account fast) but it wouldnt be fair that some ladies got a headstart in the "race". I wanted this collection just as bad as the rest of you gals, but if a company states a specific time for something to release, then they should honor that...Now on to the next comment... geesh yall are wearing me thin with these comments, how can you get mad at MAC for honoring their original word!? Im sure if you missed out on this collection, you would be upset too that others got a headstart and ordered 3-4 lipsticks of one color....

Well, I agree that I would be upset if it sold out and people were allowed to buy over the quantity limit, but I don't blame people for placing an order when it went up on the site. If they wanted to make sure that people didn't order before the specified time, they should have done their testing "behind the scenes" or closed the site and put up a notice saying something like "site down to get ready for launch." There are plenty of things that they can do to make their launches more efficient but they choose not to.

Ha, now because it's taking forever to remove items from my cart, I'll end up buying two lipsticks instead of one. Guess I'm getting RiRi Woo too. Or not. Every time my cart finally loads it's something different. Somehow Heaux has remained in there. I don't even care what I get at this point as long as I get that because it's what I set out for.

Because it's been so long since I've done this crazy online scramble, I'm not getting annoyed. It's like an adventure. And I'm finally maybe getting somewhere. Been waiting for about an hour I'd say.

i understand that but instead of working over time to cancel orders why not put that effort and man power to taking order quickly and money and time spent cancel make more quantities

Well, I didn't call CS and still got cancelled! lol! Thats why I ordered anyway
