I was around during the Marilyn collection, but I am not a Marilyn Monroe fan, so I passed on that collection as a whole. It was a lot crazier? OMG! Was it in store and online, or online only?
Today it's been pretty chaotic. There has been an issue where a group of ladies found a link last night and this morning before the launch, that allowed them to place their order. The money was taken out of their account, etc. Well, MAC if now cancelling all the orders that were placed this morning before noon. I am not sure if that is happening to all of the ladies that managed to place their orders last night. As far as I have been able to tell, it seems that their orders have went through, but don't quote me on that one!

Starting from last night till right now there are about 100 new pages (of drama and anger and happiness and worry surrounding this release), and its not slowing down by much!
I can't imagine Marilyn getting that bad, but I wasn't a specktrette then so I wasn't there

Three hours?! There's no makeup item I'd wait to buy that way. None. I already have more than I will ever use. I've been feeling of late that my makeup addiction has run its course. I have a couple of things on my list from TT but I don't much care if I miss them. Nothing is tempting me from any of the other collections. Even when I was buying like crazy last year I didn't bother staying up to stalk nor would I have waited in this room. This is insane - I can't believe MAC gets away with this.

I bought around 80% of the stuff from Heavenly Creature, last year's mineralize collection, not counting lip products (which i didn't buy). I've worn nearly everything at least a few times, and some things with more frequency. I didn't back anything up, but i shopped from that collection 3 or 4 times. First i was "sensible" and only got a few things, but then i kept going back for more - i even went shopping in MAC stores when i was out of town.
This collection isn't grabbing me the same way, but i'm guessing once i test it, i'll be more excited. I didn't own a MAC Mineralize SF or Blush until 2011 and now i have 14 (i know, not a lot compared to some
including several old LE ones that i've gotten via my Specktra wish list: By Candlelight, Perfect Topping, and Semi Precious Crystal Pink (i'm still trying to get Semi Precious Pearl).
So despite my seeming self-control, i'll probably lose it when i get my hands on the testers for Tropical Taboo

My list is just Adored. I JUST finished By Candelight this morning so I feel like I can take on another MSF. I feel very accomplished but also sad. By Candlelight was my fave but I don't want to open the can of worms known as back-ups. Trying not to want the blushes or Narcissus...

How long did it take you to finish by candlelight. That is quite an accomplishment, but so sad.

Lol I think we're good with this collection, I could be wrong but it seems to be pretty low in anticipation. At least for me it is, I usually love the summer Mineralize collections bc the colors are so fun but this year I'm not feeling it, I want very little

They won't have a waiting room. Several collections have been released in the last month without. Since RiRi will be in stores for the next two collection I don't think we will ever see a waiting room with MAC again.
