Hey! I am in Jamaica also, and the post launch order that I did was on myiPhone browser.

I would use my phone but I wouldn't be able to pay for the roaming that Digicel/LIME/Claro would charge me. So I'm stuck with just using wifi.
I'm just here visiting my family, I'll be back in the States next week.

I ordered at 1pm approximately. But I was on the site at 12:20pm. I got the email for my order AND confirmation. Nope, just standard.

I'm more bummed that I lost FMP in the process of all this mess. But idk I think they shouldn't have charged my card so quick. RRB and I were not meant to be I guess.

That's crazy! I was on the site at 11:58 and at 3:30 I was still in the waiting room. I should've known something was wrong, but I couldn't log onto specktra to see what was up with others trying to order and I sort of expected to wait longer this time. GRR makes me so mad wasting my time! Everything was backordered or out of stock when I finally got to the check out from my other computer.

Well it looks like the money's been withdrawn from my account, but the order page on my MAC account lists the order as Pending still...good Lord, please don't screw me over MAC!

Probably not ! I guess everybody don't know when you getting a "hookup" you DON'T say anything... just see what happens. If it goes through great if not oh well !! What people should have done was just order a backup after it "official launched" . And if they had extra's Im pretty sure they would have had no problems selling them, there would be plenty of people willing to take them off their hands.

Did you place after 12? If so it should be fine and end up going through. If you placed before 12 though it will probably be canceled and the charge will drop off your account 24-72 hours depending on your bank or credit card company's policy. Hope that helps.
