I also went back and checked the status of my orders and two of them, both posted after the release, were canceled. It's because I had more than one of each lipstick, a result of using the earlier link (had to try!

). According to CS, my other two orders were safe because there were only one of each item in them, and, if I placed two more orders (to reach my max of 4 transactions for the day), those would also be fine as long as there was only one of each item.

The rep tried to tell me that the one blush duo I did have in one of the canceled orders was sold to someone else? Not sure if that could be true given it that order was still pending for a few hours AFTER the duo had sold out.

I'm a little heated, but it's not the end of the world. And I hate knowing that I'll be back for more when the Fall release happens, pending swatches of course.
I ordered one of each lipstick, and then helped my friend order 1 Heaux afterwards, which makes two orders. I hope mine doesn't get canceled. It seems like they're just cancelling left and right now & they might just be making stuff up.

This whole release just left a bad taste in my mouth. Hoping Tropical Taboo isn't anything like this craziness. I don't think I can handle two batshit releases so close to each other.
It probably won't be, I think because it was a rihanna collection a lot of her fans were on there ordering things..tropical taboo will most likely be the usual addicts

They cancelled one of my orders with my lustre drops that was placed AFTER 12pm too :censored:   This is insane.
Idk even know how to handle this because their reps are like "we don't know" and they are telling me the orders are gone... So what do we do? Call tomorrow and bitch... I'm just so mind blown at how horrible their CS has been. I'm like ready to just cancel all my orders and buy me some dior and chanel. To hell with MAC

Thank goodness I don't know what's in Tropical Taboo to want it. I will fight the urge to find out. I really, really, REALLY need to sit out a collection or two at least. And appreciate the untouched gems waiting in my recent purchases to be played with!

You know I was in that waiting room FOREVER and still had to wait until I got home to get RiRi Boy. MAC ate my battery up on my iPhone.......Shit. My patients were probably wondering why I kept checking my phone every few minutes to see if I was out of the "waiting room". Bwhahaha!!! What a crazy day!



And THANK YOU SWEETS for thinking of me and the Lustre Drops, they were already sold out when I got home.

This was terrible planning on MACs part, probably the worst ordering experience I've experienced.....but then I remember that NYX 50% debacle from a few years back. Yep, that was much much worse LOL

Ohhhhh the fun hasn't ended yet?!?!? I see, it's only at a resting point until we get shipping notifications... or cancellation notices... Oh MAC this is wonderful!

The online cart specifically said 1 item per TRANSACTION not OVERALL, PERIOD, THAT'S ALL YOU ARE ALLOWED TO ORDER! I placed 2 orders for the Lustre Drops! So I could have one and my girl could have one! They better not cancel my order! I'll be so mad after waiting ALL afternoon in "waiting rooms" and crashes and time outs! NOT COOL! If they had said ONE OF EACH ITEM ONLY, I wouldn't have waited over and over again! I spent over 2 1/2 hours to place 2 orders!

Well, well, well what do we have here. I just got another e-mail from Mac that confirms shipping w/ the UPS link and it looks just like every other confirmation e-mail. However, I click the link to see where it is and the UPS site tells me there's a return to sender request. It was sent out at 9pm but by 11:50 it says "The shipper has requested a Delivery Intercept for this package. / Return to sender pending." Isn't that something? Sounds to me like Mac doesn't want my coins in the future. This is the final straw. I will be glad to oblige.
