Well, well, well what do we have here. I just got another e-mail from Mac that confirms shipping w/ the UPS link and it looks just like every other confirmation e-mail. However, I click the link to see where it is and the UPS site tells me there's a return to sender request. It was sent out at 9pm but by 11:50 it says "The shipper has requested a Delivery Intercept for this package. / Return to sender pending." Isn't that something? Sounds to me like Mac doesn't want my coins in the future. This is the final straw. I will be glad to oblige.

Wow! This is straight crazy. I've never had a bad experience like this and I definitely value CS. I'm hunting down the twitter of every person at MAC and I'm going to send them a rant. I don't care if they do anything at this point, but you give me a headache... You better be damn sure I'm going to give you a headache!

This was terrible planning on MACs part, probably the worst ordering experience I've experienced.....but then I remember that NYX 50% debacle from a few years back. Yep, that was much much worse LOL

For real. I also have a UPS account and they sent me an alert saying they have my package and then I click the tracking link they provide it says Return to Sender Requested. SO, not only did mac eff up by putting this up early, they failed to cancel and prevent packages from being sent out. To actually contact UPS to request return to sender after I've been notified no less than 3 times that my order is on it's way? Yeah, no. I'm good. It's been fun Mac. A good 5 years. I'll kick around this thread more for giggles, but I am done. Done. Who thinks I'm playing? This is a step too far and I don't give a damn what kinda collection they come up with. I'm not giving my money to this brand anymore. I have enough of it to last for years.

They are really taking this whole no orders placed before noon will go through seriously. Serious enough to pull packages back. This is ridiculous.

...I don't even know whats going on at MAC today. Like damn...I know Pixie was joking but are they gonna hire folks to run up on people's doorsteps like "Nope, sorry, you used the wrong link at the wrong time. This is OURS now." snatch the boxes and jump into a black escalade?

is it that serious to actually intercept the damn package???? Like a drug bust...goodness

Honestly, I agree. I'd rather pay more for way better products with good customer service. I've never had a bad experience with sephora. I was planning a TT order but I've completely changed my mind.

I was finally able to checkout at 4:00ish after 4 hours of page not loading but I don't know if I got the backorder message because at that point I was just smashing submit submit submit. I got confirmation email saying 5-7 days and it's pending on the MAC site.

Does anybody know whether it would say "backordered" on the status if I got it after it went to backorder?
