no damn unicorn or fairy dust in those lipsticks, not even with this situation but going to mac yesterday I couldn't think of not one single thing to buy, besides cherry lip liner with my friend pro card . I am all maced out, and it couldn't have came at a better time, with the horrible situations that happened yesterday with this collection. Seriously Sephora , and drug stores are just fine for me.
Yeah I'm going through my wishlist on my mac account and I've started looking at Sephora equivalents.

I'm so sorry. They should know better, they made people wait hours to order and then just act like their time is meaningless.

MAC, if you are trying to enforce a 1 item per customer rule *now,* after people put up with your waiting room for 3-4 hours, you are the WORST business ever. Yes, I have walked through knee-high snow in launch day for Barbie Loves MAC and even stalked MM while recovering from surgery. But canceling customer's "fairly" purchased post launch orders? Snatching back lipsticks off the damn UPS trucks AFTER customers got shipping notices? That's just NASTY and it shows how little you value your loyal customers. I guess you are feeling ballsy because you have new customers from the Rihanna fleet. Good luck with them. I am sure they will buy your $40 quads with a million Carbons/Shadowy Lady in every collection, glittery MES with bad fallout, lip products with descriptions like "red coral" in one collection and "coral red" in the next. Smdh

Shontay I'm sorry to hear what happened to you bc that's just jacked all the way up! Like you, I'm in the similar boat with my order(s) smh. When my pre-noon orders got cancelled, I was like cool, it was a risk anyways... But I never (and still don't) have notifications via email saying they r cancelled. I saw that money was increasing in my pp account. So ab 8pm I called them bc one order that had been cancelled had not been refunded (on pp) so I was talking to this girl who came off snobby n she was all like " yeah yeah ill send something" so I was like cool. I told her specifically which one it was, and I told her twice. Ab 30 mins later I go into Pp n check to see what I had left. My account went from 11 to 117 which means .......something else has canceled but more than what I expected! I call back.... Y'all... They cancelled ALL of my post 12 orders, bc some dumbass in order processing thought I ordered "over my limit of four" when I CLEARLY had less than 4 of anything, but apparently smart guy was counting my canceled crap. Really??! Then she said like I was supposed to be OK with it like she was just going to hang up :/ So I just lost it! On the phone just spazzed all the way out. It don't help that I'm pregnant n I just was sobbing n screaming at them. How do you make an error on the right orders but don't even fix the real problem!! And they still have my money from the order that should of been canceled!!!!!!! Which means the girl clearly lied ab "7-10 business days to reverse back into pp" no heaux, it does not! Y'all...I lost all of my faith in MAC today. Even the hubby was listening like "how do you even justify what you did n why would u work so hard to cancel people orders but not want to fix errors you made??" So they sent me to a supervisor n she filed something for upper mgmt to fix bc she was like "well we can't reinstate that but a lot of orders were not processed so maybe we can replace it with those" ummm ain't no maybe, YOU ARE, if you got to call Rihanna herself and ask for her backups :/ they really lost me n how they can even get on the phone n deal with pple the way they do is sad. My feelings r very hurt bc I sat and wasted my day ordering all for it to mean nothing at the end bc some smuck thought he was being cute. I will surely never participate in these big release things anymore either, IDC if unicorn dust is in the next RiRi lipstick she n Mac can have it! Smh and sigh. I feel let down...
I can't believe they cancelled ALL of your post-launch orders. Like your CS rep, mine was all like, "I dunno." And I agree with poster above that CS reps are the LEAST informed -- that much we longtime stalkers know to be true. But, don't try to blame the customers. When your system cancels orders where there was no bank issue, the customer ordered after noon, and the customer ordered 1 item per order, try to make it RIGHT. The fact that CS didn't offer me or KMQ viable solutions says a lot about MAC's loyalty to its longtime customers. It has none.

For real. I also have a UPS account and they sent me an alert saying they have my package and then I click the tracking link they provide it says Return to Sender Requested. SO, not only did mac eff up by putting this up early, they failed to cancel and prevent packages from being sent out. To actually contact UPS to request return to sender after I've been notified no less than 3 times that my order is on it's way? Yeah, no. I'm good. It's been fun Mac. A good 5 years. I'll kick around this thread more for giggles, but I am done. Done. Who thinks I'm playing? This is a step too far and I don't give a damn what kinda collection they come up with. I'm not giving my money to this brand anymore. I have enough of it to last for years.

and apparently cancel some orders after noon as well, not sure if they actually want to accept any orders in the first place
makes me wonder to did they really have enough of everything in the first place
 
No im a soldier...Been in the ARMY for 7 years now....And thank you....But there no thanks needed I serve my USA because it just what I love to do

I am so PISSED and DISGUSTED with MAC's F'ing Bull$hit right now. I say-yeah, go ahead-F me over for the order BEFORE noon but to F me over afterwards when I only have 2 F'ing lipsticks in my order-THAT IS F'ING UNREAL. I don't want to F'ing deal with this $hit right now. Who would have thought that ordering 2 MF'ing lipsticks would be like winning the MF'ing lottery! I feel my Spectrites pain. F U MAC!

International buyers, lessons from today: 1) Do not snitch to CS if products launch early; 2) Use multiple Apple devices; 3) Have a male enabler place the order for you; 4) Have double the funds if you are using that hot mess PayPal; 4) Bring the lube.

I was also disgusted by this display of total disrespect for their customers and their customer's time. I was so disgusted that I actually wrote them on their Facebook page. I'm tempted to print what I wrote and sent it via certified mail to corporate because this cannot continue. They are the ONLY cosmetics company that have this issue. You don't see any other one who have customers constantly complaining and upset due to how new collections are released. Then again, how many other companies release as many collections annually as MAC? None! We let them think its okay because of how we let them continue without demanding they do better because we continue to buy. If MAC was boycotted and people stopped buying from them, hitting them where it really hurts, then we'd see a different reaction out of them other than their cut-and-paste responses that they were posting on facebook and twitter yesterday.

There are so many people that really wanted to have the products.They would have used and loved their goodies!!!
But they missed out on them...

And these people grab all the stuff just to sell it and to make a profit.That is SOOOOOO not right

I just got a back order notification for Heaux. I placed the order around 1:58 PM central time. Also they have Riri Woo in that order which I DID NOT order so I don't know how it got into my bag. If anything gets cancelled I will be on the phone complaining. I know it's makeup but its the principle of the situation you don't have people waiting online for hours to cancel their shit. They made this collection nearly impossible to get outside of MAC. And if I see a ridiculous amount of eBay posting for insane amounts it will make me that much more pissed that no matter what they'll get product before a regular customer.

I love Mac but I'm dying for the day that a true real boycott happens to them. The day that nobody even goes to ebay looking for items because theyre that fed up. The product quality has been going down more and more since the late 90's as prices go up and sizes decrease. Then, if you walk into a store you don't know if you're going to get an excellent knowledgeable makeup artist or some temporary salesperson who Mac hasn't even properly updated on upcoming collections. I can't tell you how many times I'm told a product isn't coming out or doesnt exist that I KNOW is coming out from info and photos online. Half the time these salespersons have bad attitudes and/or are snobby as hell and what do we do? We deal with it. For these and many other reasons I hate going to a MAC store, so I don't any more. However, now shopping online is becoming an atrocity with the sold out in 30 second issues and now the waiting room garbage and cancelling peoples orders after they screw up, etc. I guess I'm not young enough to tolerate this anymore because for me, MAC is really begging to be boycotted.

Oh no, I'm sorry you're having to go through this as well. I know I'm seriously second guessing purchasing from MAC again, especially during a big launch.
It's hard from me to walk away from MAC period bc I've been so hardcore for MAC through my makeup "life", i felt silly at first being mad ab it but then I was like wow I put so much into loving MAC and that's how they do in return? So I know I can't do the big releases anymore. Idk I just feel yucky I was pissed at everyone n for everyone who was like me waiting in that stupid room trying to get some of that stuff.

I empathize with you.I started with MAC only a few years ago but before that only bought from Sephora for the longest time after I was done with the teenage drugstore makeup phase.. I think I'm going to revert back to my first high end loves over there. It would be hard.
Yes! I've been stalking/here for MAC since the N collection! I know that may seem like nothing to some folks but to me that's forever lol! Yeah whoever did that I'm literally gunning for them and I'm super serious ab it too. You just do stuff and then like shrug it off like its all cool. I agree with you all, it's a lot of good products out there that can have my money lol but still I want what I ordered here. Even if it turns out crappy
