I hate it that someone snitched on our forum.I pray they don't try to shut it down. You know, they f'd me over on this $hit and are supposedly trying to "make it right" and "you will get your order" BUT DON'T mess with this forum. I value having Spectra in my life way more than any damn lipsticks. I just wanna say that I know I don't KNOW KNOW you all but chatting with my fellow Spectrites is an escape for me. I'm going to feel like in losing out but I believe this is my break starting with them. I can't take the treatment. Like others have said why should you have to beg a company to take your money? I'm really going to try my best to leave them alone if not in total, for a while.

I hear ya. I'm calling them sometime this afternoon to find out what's going on with my stuff. Put my money back if you're not sending anything MAC. This is what I get though. I need to wear the stuff I have and stop with all this LE craziness. My husband gave me a gift card for Mother's Day and I used it on this stuff. I haven't even told him about the fiasco. His day was rough enough as it is yesterday. I had 2 RiRi lipsticks in my order and 3 permanent items. I still want the 3 permanent items. Don't really care much about the LE stuff anymore.

Yes, that's why I called them. They have NO real answer other than it was a fail.

To be honest, MAC's main selling point, for me, is their price-point. And I could be wrong but I think that's true for a lot of people. I'm a college student, and as much as I love NARS I can only afford to purchase it during a 20% off sale at Sephora. On the other hand, I can buy a $15 lipstick once or twice a month. Even the other mid-range brands like Stila and Urban Decay cost quite a bit more. The choice to boycott is a hard one.

So all my orders seem to have survived, except for the last riri boy ( I got a back order notice for it) so fingers crossed. All the orders being canceled has Me sweating

Mine was. I only ordered 1 RiRiBoy and 1 Heaux at 2:36PM They were like "oopsie" "sorry" "we will make it right" "you will get your order shipped" "call back in 2 days". So exhausted with this $hit.

Wow at all the post orders being cancelled so sorry for you guys. I guess I can't be surprised if they cancel mines too and if they do i will be making a call to mac and it won't be pretty. I think after the tt collection I will be done with them for a while this is beyond ridiculous now.

And why though? That's what I don't quite understand. Why in the world would they cancel post-launch orders? Are MAC employees trying to buy this stuff up for themselves? Well, I get up this morning to check my 'legitimate' 'fair' order

one of the ls is backordered. Yep, I think thats reallllly fair.

I've been on the phone with MAC CS for awhile. I explained that they've had launch/ordering/sellout issues for a long time. Anyhow, because of how I explained things she is sending a recording of my call to the higher ups so they can hear it in my own words. I guess they will be calling me back in 2 days. I told her that they need to stop treating those that ordered early as though they did something nefarious or criminal. So I say cool, bring it on.

Oh, I said if MAC wants to deal with something that really is not legitimate, go look at ebay where they are selling large quantities of product & most people can't even purchase 1 on launch day.

She also brought up about this beauty board. I guess that was because of the noobie snitch. I said that board has nothing to do with the epic fail MAC had yesterday.

I told them that I wanted all 3 of my cancelled orders!

After all the money Specktra members have given them? We're normal customers. We just so happen to come together here to talk about our love for makeup. ALL brands of makeup. We're not some kind of effing cult! What basis would they have to shut a forum down? A forum that hasn't done anything illegal. If they want to shut something down, shut down the guy that leaked the link allowing people to place orders. You don't take YOUR glitch or whatever they want to call it out on the customer.

It's hard from me to walk away from MAC period bc I've been so hardcore for MAC through my makeup "life", i felt silly at first being mad ab it but then I was like wow I put so much into loving MAC and that's how they do in return? So I know I can't do the big releases anymore. Idk I just feel yucky I was pissed at everyone n for everyone who was like me waiting in that stupid room trying to get some of that stuff.

I can't walk away from Mac. Even when EL bought them out, I couldn't (although I wanted to). Mac was such a huge part of me growing up. My first lipstick, my first signature scent, the ladies at the Queen West pro store who taught me how to fix my brows. My best friend and I bonded over Mac in our early years, the years of Spice liner and a light light (zombie) nude lippie in the 90s.

Sure the company has changed. It's bigger, more "corporate", the e/s aren't as nice as they used to be, they're killing me with all these LE collections... but it's still my fave makeup brand and I'll be loyal to death. Maybe it's the great CS I've received, maybe it's the fact the ladies at my local counter are amazing, maybe it's knowing all those Riris were made in a factory just around the corner.... I can't quit you Mac.
