Hello Ladies, I'm a newbie too. I decide to join to keep up with new collections and such, I found this site doing a search on when the mac heroine lipstick will be back and i saw this Riri post. I really wanted the lipsticks and I was stalking mac for like a whole week, I was on before 12 and Omg 3 times I got to submit final order and I got gateway time out. I was so pissed, but i kept on trying and I had about 4 open screen on 3 p.c and also on my phone, kinda shame about being that desperate lol but my order finally went through. I hope it won't be cancelled. I just want to know do MAC do this all the time with their collections? Because this is madness

I ordered Heaux at 2pm yesterday and it's been shipped. I received an email and CS just confirmed it. It seems like there's no rhyme or reason to which orders are shipped, backordered, or cancelled smh.

I ordered right before 2pm and mine is still pending :/ I've had 2 orders cancelled so far...

Same with me, I was ordering for myself because my bday is today and was all excited about it launching the day before, but now I don't even know if I want my pending order to go through or not this has been such a disaster and I can't think of a time I have been this angry towards a company. :/

My 'fair' order was logged at 2pm even though I was kicked out for 2 hrs. 2 ls - one pending which is shipping & one backordered from that order

I was so exasperated yesterday that I had no concept of time other than I had spent way too much of it trying to place an order. I placed one that
I thought had gone through, but then the gateway timed out. I placed a second order and finally got an order number, but still had angst about it. This
whole thing was just poorly handled. I hope you get your goods! I hope everyone is able to remedy their specific issues in this mess.

BTW, I just heard on the news that a man was found on the roof of RiRi's LA digs last night----

perhaps a SO/Hub wanting their gal's MAC order!!
The man was arrested.

At this point I'm seriously thinking MAC just let us order everything we wanted and just now are going through their actual inventory/stock to see what they DO have. If they don't have enough for your order, then they'll send (have sent) a backorder notice depending on the time you placed your order. Then after we'll probably get that "shipped" or even "cancelled" notice. /:

I received my shipping confirm for my first order I placed after 12. It was for the entire collection although I really only wanted RRB and Heaux. My 2nd order for the lippy BUs is still pending. Does anyone feel that it was a ploy to have that "I want it all" button knowing good and well we had no option to modify our carts??? I mean I tried numerous of times to choose what I wanted only to be kicked out and resorted to just buying it all to get through the utter madness. Well played MAC, well played... jerks
