L to R...RRB, RRW, Heaux


ZOMG trying to post this took too long. I would post face stuff but I'm not in my best face right now NC 20 if that makes a difference, but my inner arm is prob NC -5..

Anyways

RRB is less bright than in this photo, much more "everyday" wearable than I thought it would be, however RRW and Heaux are 97% accurate to this photo. RRB went on the lips very smoothly (put on balm 5/10 min before that).

Heaux is hardly berry, especially once on the lips, it is more of a deep red (burgundy?) , but still gorgeous. A very sultry lip look. Did not go on as smooth as RRB but maybe because no lip balm underneath (SO BALM THAT ISH).

RRW is RRW lol, very pretty red, but you all know that!

These are lovely, but also making me feel silly about wanting these lippies so bad. I am seriously considering calling MAC and having them cancel the remainder of my orders they haven't cancelled (yet).

Thank you so much for these swatches. Hmmm, I might sell Heaux to somebody...like I need another red. When you say RRB is less bright, is it as dark as heroine, FMP etc? (if you have them).

By less bright than the swatch I meant more muted, so its less of a contrast b/w face and lips than it seems like it would be judging by the swatch.

FMP and heroine are bright loud colours, but I would call them darker purples in terms of shade? I would not call RRB loud.



Don't be too sure about heaux, it doesnt look like much now but on the lips...

Both of my orders are still pending. I don't want to call MAC to inquire just in case I rock the boat. I'll stay quiet and see what happens!

does anyone know what time they started the back ordering i placed my order @ 9:35 so 12:35est time and this morning mine were shipped but my friend who placed her order later i think she said 1 something my time 4 something est hers still shows as pending was back ordering already going on by then?

Ya , although I'm very surprised that the CS is so different.

I will say that my order is still "pending" according to the MAC website, despite having received it...so people pending, don't give up!

Welp I also just got my retail therapy fix to make up for this Riri f*ckery.. Bought myself a new DVD stereo system for my car because my current factory touchscreen radio randomly died on me a few weeks ago. You'd think they'd last longer than 3 years..... Anywho this new one is super sexy and has way more features so thanks, MAC for driving me this far up the wall.

Oh yay I just got a backorder notification. So it wasn't backordered when my order was placed but now they decided I don't get my order.
Is anybody at that company going to face any consequences whatsoever over how badly this was all handled? Truly, F%$K.YOU.MAC. I want to cancel the whole thing. I didn't really want another woo except that I couldn't delete it. Now I'm paying for that but don't get my other $hit?

Oh this MAC madness! One of my orders is shipping (technically only a label has been generated) but I won't trust it until it arrives considering what happened to Shontay! I only ordered one of each (after the crazy site mess I didn't have it in me to try for more) but if I don't receive it I'm good. I am very disappointed in the chaos MAC created with this launch. I get the usual LE release frenzy but yesterday was on a whole new level...and MAC's handling of the issue is what is making things crazier. But on a better note...I can count on you ladies to enable me on so many other brands so I'm ready for the fun!

Heaux was NOT in backorder status when I ordered it with RRB

CS best be looking in every nook & cranny in their warehouse for my order before they call me back in 2 days

Instagram is filled with girls showing their orders and not even paying attention to it saying mid-July. 10 minutes later they comeback ranting about back order. Mac is gonna lose loyal buyers for these riri one timers that will never buy anything else. This is truly sad.............

I was a little sad about this bronzer/blush duo being sold out and them canceling my post-noon order for it. I bought multiple orders but I told my mom and BFF, I'd get theirs. However, I think I'm going to splurge and get the dior bronzer/blush duo. The quality looks amazingggg and common....dior is soooo luxurious looking!!!
