Of course its a "Technical error" (Safety error I'd say) on their side, if they don't want the public to have access to the products before launch its up to them to ensure that all possible ways (Links, search etc) does not lead to the products before the date and time theyve set (Its not difficult to achieve). I cant belive theyre not taking the full responsibility for this. If you dont want people to buy the products, THEN DONT MAKE THEM AVAILABLE and then blame your customers for finding them. Ignorant.

Beautiful!Heauxing it up. A bit more berry in person, its just a couldy rainy day outside so i couldn't find good lighting. I love the colour and the formula!

I still have not gotten my cancelled orders reinstated. Mac people didn't call me like they said they would so I'm going to call back today and see what that's all about. I was told my situation was put into "high priority" and a supervisor will call me to reinstate my order.

Has anyone ever bought makeup off Amazon before? I'm thinking of getting the HB duo but I'm scared because it's not the official MAC website that I'm buying it from. Anybody ever had a problem before with Amazon or eBay for that matter?

The only time i bought makeup from amazon was getting MAC's soft meow blush and it was a fake. I knew it was fake because i had the original blush. I returned the fake but they only gave me like 70% of my money back. Never again Idk if they have enough time to make a fake HB duo though lol. I seen somone selling HB in the clearance bin if u have access to that yet

I've ordered from there once but it was for an OCC lip tar set that Sephora was selling via Amazon so it was legit(I needed it get my Amazon Christmas gift purchase up to a certain amount for special financing so I threw that set in to get to the amount I needed). Otherwise I haven't done it. I know private individuals can sell of Amazon so you have to make sure they are legit.

Yea most of these fakes are from individual sellers and mostly mac just like on ebay lol. If u bought it from Sephora through amazon that is def legit

well that's great to hear!Well, well, well, I got an email from MAC stating that they will be shipping backorders & shipping them SOONER than expected
"We appreciate your understanding that we have done everything possible to expedite the shipment of the additional quantities of Heaux and RiRi Boy lipsticks to our fulfillment facility so your backorder can be shipped as soon as possible. I am pleased to let you know that we expect to be able to ship your backordered items sooner than expected."
They also asked for the link & site name that it was posted on - neither of which will be given by me.
