I'm truly happy that all of you ladies are receiving your cancelled/Bo items! Now if they can speed up the damaged replacements all will be right with the world lol

Just received my RRW backup and it is PERFECT! No waxy goopy blobs.

I also got Heroine l/l and I think it's really pretty. I think I might like this more than Magenta and NYX's Purple Rain.

I feel like NYX's purple rain is not a very pigmented l/l compared to other NYX's, so I went ahead and got the Heroine cos I know MAC won't disappoint with pigmentation.

I think that it would deepen the color. If you want to stay true to color, you should go with a lighter purple. I don't know of any light purple l/ls.

And I finally received a response from MAC regarding an email I sent on 06/18 regarding cancellations. I like how they keep insisting there was "no technical error" on their part... and someone apparently snitched expressed concerns about "unfairly gained early access". Whatever, MAC! This is why I don't even feel like hauling TT right now.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any upset that has been caused. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. We are very sorry that the email cancellation for your order did not reach you and we are looking into what may have happened with our fulfillment provider. We truly appreciate your loyalty to MAC Cosmetics and for taking the time to share your experience with us.

Thank you for allowing us to explain that the collection was not available to the public on our site at the time your order was placed. Individuals, using technological means to circumvent our site, were able to gain access to the collection prior to the time of launch. The instructions on how to "find" the collection were then posted on other web sites. The link that was used to gain access to the site was not posted nor sanctioned by MAC Cosmetics. There was no technical error on our part and our intention in cancelling the orders was to keep the process for purchasing a limited collection as fair as possible.With so many MAC fans clamoring to purchase this collection and the concerns that were expressed when they believed others had unfairly gained early access to the collection prompted the decision.

We apologize that this experience has been difficult and we appreciate your feedback. Your comments have been forwarded to the appropriate executives for their consideration for future launches. Thank you for your understanding and for the opportunity to continue to serve you.

OMG, really? It's no different than when we go to the site map or the limited edition section to order our goodies before the official launch of the collection. There are ways of preventing people from ordering before a set time, and they chose not to do that. They could have closed down the site, sent emails with special links at 9am, etc. One of the major things that irks me in life is when people fail to take responsibility for their actions and blame someone else for it. It's over MAC. You cancelled orders to "make it fair", now move on and learn from your mistakes for future launches. No need to find a scapegoat.

This is why I got Heroine l/l plus BU. I really liked the swatch and Nyx purple rain didn't do it for me and I love Nyx liners.

I called Mac and the lady was extrememly nice! She looked at my previous notes and noticed I've called like 5x in the past week haha Anyways, she said that they've had many cancellations and they are fulfilling the backordered items with the cancelled items right now. She also said that she has no doubt that my cancelled orders will be reinstated because they are expecting a large shipment of Riri lipsticks in mid July so the ones you guys are receiving are from the cancelled orders (apparently a lot called to cancel due to the BO notices) Someone from corporate is supposed to call me again next week.

I LOVE Heroine liner SOO much! I just lightly filled my lips completely in with it - no ls over it. Beautiful! Why did I not think to buy another yesterday

You guys have just made me call and put Heroine l/l on hold - all this gushing and love for it lol. Plus, I played with mine last night, and it is unlike any other purple lipliner I have. I need a backup.

I'm heading back to Dillard's to hopefully get a backup of it. Didn't expect to love it as much as I do! And it is perfect with FMP!

I let Heroine liner BU go by b/c I figured I could always grab Purple Rain or Magenta, but now you ladies talkin' it up and I want a BU again.
