The first thing i do when things arrive is open the box, take everything out of their little boxes, take out any inserts, and throw em away! I do have a weird OCD thing tho (me? OCD? shocker, i know ). I have to close all the little mac boxes before throwing them away. I dunno why :dunno:

If the shoe fits...I have ocd hoarding too and I cannot throw the inserts. I think they have helped with some of my moves and they definitely cut down on dusty mess

I remove all my plastic inserts but i save them and use them as little palettes and then throw them out. I also don't keep anything in boxes, too much hassle. But i flatten and recycle mine.

I read all the posts related to your question MissTT and started getting nervous because I don't keep anything extra---can't stand anything in the way (not that it's like
moving a bolder or anything but when I'm in a hurry every step counts (you see, I'm old). If you remove the plastic you have to put it back! I don't keep the inserts
and nothing has ver happened to my products as a result.

Okay so I called my local mac and they still have sweet samba I was interesting in getting ee anybody loving that one guess people are because its sold out at the counter this is one i wanted to swatch in person

I know I am wearing EE more than anything else so far. It's the only MB in the collection that's really easy for daytime on me - Simmer and SS are pretty high fashion looking on my skin tone - they're not exactly go-to-the-grocery-store colors for me!

I really want sweet samba, rio, and adored now. I didn't think I wanted any of those but I love mineralized products! I got some e/s, lust, and simmer already. I kind of want Caribbean too cuz it's gorgeous but I don't know that it would work on my olive skin tone very well sad days.

I'm of both minds regarding the inserts. It gets in my way and sometimes the plastic scrapes the product when I close the case which is why I was abut to pitch the one on my MSFN. But then I worried it served some protective purpose so I left it on. Medgal you had me crackin up with your Golden Girls routine.

Hi everyone I am new as of tonight lol...From his collection I picked up Adored and Rio...Love them both...Adored is my favorite...Once it idolized it looked like a toned down Springsheen blush by MAC. In this pic Adored is on top and Rio on bottom I didn't heavily swatch Rio, but very pinky

I've been thinking about ordering Naked for awhile now! Is it similar to anything else? Site looks like they only have Naked and Naked Deep, no deep dark?

I backed it up (twice, oops) and I can totally justify it because like you, it works perfect for my light skin. If you really love it and you can see it topping your other highlights, then totally go for it. I've been using it daily.

BUT, do always consider MAC will most likely repromote older awesome MSFs and make newer better ones that you'll also love. Who knows, maybe Adored will even be repromoted one day down the road. If you're really strapped for cash, one should be good. I haven't finished a MSF yet, but I only purchased my first around the beginning of last year I think. My lightscapade and soft & gentle's domes are getting flat, but still not close to hitting pan. I never used those two daily though. So, it really depends on how many highlights you have and how much you anticipate using Adored.

oh...i forgot who asked, but so ceylon and rio are very different...rio reads definitely a light pinky tone, and so ceylon more coppery and significantly darker....

Thanks Erine! They look pretty warm? If soft brown looks bad on me should I skip deep and deep dark?
