I love Adored. I swatched it next to some of my most loved peachy highlighters (Pearl Sunshine, Perfect Topping, etc) and it beat them. I didn't think I'd like anything more than Perfect Topping but I actually like Adored more. And believe me, I love me some PT.
No freaking way. Now I can't wait to get my paws on it! Hurry up package! PT is my most loved MSF

I already have one Adored MSF, Do I need a backup!?!? Has anyone ever finished a MSF before? The color works perfect for my light skin but I've been spending so much $$ ... I dont know what to do
To finish an MSF takes a lot of dedication- you have to use it heavily on a daily basis for more than a year. Since this one is a highlighter, I don't think you will be using it very heavily. Back it up only if you know that this is the one and only one highlighter that you will use for the next few years, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health until death do you part.

If you know that you are going to be fooling around with other highlighters, don't bother!

So turns out I don't need to go in store. My boyfriend told me not to go to buy anything from the collection because he bought me stuff.   He claims he picked out stuff based on what he think would look good on me and what I would like. He won't tell me exactly what he got so I'm anxious. Let's see if I can trust his MAC judgement, this should be interesting. :amused:
So cute my fiancé did that with heavenly creature last year.i too was anxious about what he got me but he actually picked out good stuff.fingers crossed that your boyfriend picked out some good stuff for you!

I got my Simmer today. OMG, it really is gorgeous! The formula is divine, so fine and smooth and not powdery at all. Great pigmentation, but not as crazy as the Apres Chic MBs. I think this is the best MB formula MAC has come out with so far! Though It's a bit too shimmery for some occasions maybe. They should make MBs like these, but matte and in a whole bunch of shades and make them perm. Like a red one and a lavender one... come on, MAC!

I can't wait to get the other items, my MAC order says it shipped so I hope I'll get everything I ordered. No items missing this time, please.

I feel that the MSFs this time round are pretty frosty, Have to use a very light hand with them. For my rio, I asked to select one that has an obvious seperation of the pink and brown so I can use it as both a contour and highlight as well XD

Ok quick question...When I ordered Sweet Samba and Simmer (separately), Mac sent me an email saying that they were going to send me each one again to apologize for the original swatch/name mixup. Has anyone heard anything further about this? It said in the email it would be 5-7 business days and it was sent one June 25th, which was just over a week ago. Wondering if this email was just a front to make it look like they were sorry (most likely because of the RiRi fiasco).

I only bought Adored from this collection (besides Lust MSF, but this is going to be a birthday present :) ) and I really-really like the soft peachy-corally-gold sheen that gives to my skin, but it can't beat my one and only Perfect Topping. I hope they will release it sometime, I will get it again, that's for sure! :)
I prefer the sheen of Adored - still love PT, but I can see myself reaching for Adored more. It just gives me a glow that none of my other peachy highlighters do!
MAC really does not seem to do a very good job of distributing products properly to all locations. Multiple MUAs have told me the "system" is based on what types of products sell best at each counter or store, but really? Only 1 or 2 products to sell of any LE product is a good idea on what planet? :hmm:
A manager at one of the bigger MAC stores here in San Diego was explaining how it works to me. These collections are planned and allocated for about a year and a half in advance, and they base the stock on the amount that each store/counter sold the previous year during that time of year. I believe the word she used to describe this was STUPID.

So I'm going to my mac counter tomorrow and I may come back with TT goodies. My boyfriend gave me $50 for mac for my bday and with my pro card that may get me a few things. Off topic but when you gals get gifts like that do you prefer to buy LE items over perm right??
I would buy le items I feel like I could get perm items anytime

I'd just talked myself out of getting Simmer and SS, and you've talked me right back into it again!

Awwww everyone's Rio are so pretty. Why mine is split in half?
Mine is split in half too... Actually it's more like 2/3 pink and 1/3 brown...there must have been a batch that didn't get swirled when they were being baked??? Or maybe it was deliberate? I dunno either.

I deserve a medal for catching up to this wildfire-like thread. I didn't help that I had my kids' 7th birthday parties and relatives in town. I ordered Rio, lust and simmer. Should be here Friday. Hope I get simmer (ordered based on the name). Also just scored a fulltime job after 7 years as a sahm! My specktra and stalking time will be cut but I am very happy. I will still be here when I can. Specktra is by far my favorite forum.
