Time for me to start watching this collection. Yesterday I complimented my daughters eye shadow and noticed I hadn't really see her wear it before. I asked her what it was. She was all
whistle.gif
. Her sketchiness helped me immediately recognize it as Eclair. Finally she admitted, "Oh it's one of your paint pot thingies." I told her to stay outta my room and quit going through my stuff. She said she didn't go through my stuff it was right there on the vanity in the open. Then she proceeds to ask me to buy her Eclair. I told her she was SOL for that ship had long sailed. Maybe I can pick out a couple of shades for her.

Some kids sneak booze out of the liquor cabinet and some kids sneak Eclair off the dressing table!

Let her use it sometimes - if they don't repromote it, I will be shocked. It's definitely a color MAC will come back to, although that particular formula was extra-good. I bet colors and finishes like Eclair are going to be HUGE next spring and summer.

Idk if I got a bad one but I don't like the texture of eclair...its patchy on my eyes
Try applying it in a thinner layer, maybe? That's probably my #1 mistake with my paint pots - loading up the brush with a juicy thick layer of product and then realizing that's way too much even to split between two eyes. It gets very sludge-like very fast if you're not doing a thin coat.

I think I may be able to resist any PLW shadows, but those PLW liners - wow, gorgeous. They're coming home with me for sure! I'm half and half on paint pots - I don't use mine as much as I could or should, but when I do, I'm happy. I'm usually able to be very choosy about them, at least, so I don't have pointless paint pot overload at least. The main one in this collection that's grabbing me is Camel Coat. Stormy Pink is beautiful, but totally the wrong color for me. The sea foam green and Tailor Grey probably won't work on me either.

I DO think they should have brought back Eclair, though!

Also, erine - I hope your doctor is helping you today at your appointment. I just was put back on thyroid medication after years, because although my blood tests were all coming out normal, after an ultrasound of the gland, it was easy to see it was all inflamed and thrashed and covered with cysts from being stressed due to under activity. Thanks to my new doctor who didn't just rely on blood tests to check endocrine system imbalances! That sort of thing can lead to severe migraines (although there are other things that can cause them and make them worse too), so I wish you the best of care from your doctors and that they are willing to go the extra mile for you and not just treat symptoms but try to spend the time to do the detective work to get the underlying diagnosis of what's going on. Good luck!

Wow Liba, im glad your dr found out what was going on with you! that's all bad when drs just treat symptoms and don't even try to get to the root of the problem!
I missed out on Éclair so I am really hoping they bring it back!!

I WISH that was the only thing that's wrong right now - it isn't, sad to say - but getting my thyroid back in shape will certainly help my body deal with all the other things much better. Thanks for the good wishes, though - 'can always use plenty of that!!!!

I used to have terrible migraines with hallucinations and nausea every month with my period, like clockwork. I wound up getting acupuncture specifically for it and after a 3 month course of treatment, I literally never had a bad migraine ever again and it's been a good 10 years by now. However, my migraines were very much connected to my menstrual cycle and I bet that's a lot easier to treat than what erine is dealing with. Props to erine for being one tough cookie!!! The process of getting to the root of health issues, especially for women, is long and arduous and basically zero fun. Thank god for Specktra friends!!!!

I have quite a few medical conditions, that i basically figured out myself thanks to google lol. And the drs of course say, oh no that's not what u have. and then 8 drs later, oh ya you have such and such!
Erine, i hope you get some relief from your migraines!! hopefully the dr gives you some new info or meds or something.

I'm glad you were able to find someone like that. I found one and she up and moved. I only got two years with her.

It's been 10 years and I still miss her.

Thanks ladies. My doctor switched my meds again. I'm still getting one migraine every 2 weeks like clockwork, but what made me call the doctor was 4 migraines in a 10 day period. I've been keeping a migraine journal and there's nothing that we can find in common that's causing them. The only thing that's changed since i started getting them more frequently was starting the chemo. 17 years of working meds and 2 migraines a yr and as soon as a start chemo, BOOM! they start up like crazy. Somthey took me off the inderal and put me in the topamax. I'm still taking the maxalt when i get one, as that is working better than the imitrex has been lately, with no side effects, and it also prevents any nausea and limb/facial numbness that I'd get even when i took the imitrex. My doctor wants me to give it a month and see how it goes. I have to work my way up to a certain dosage on the topamax, and that takes a month to do, so i won't know anything til then at the least. If that doesn't work, she'll send me to a neurologist (it's been 17 years since I've been to one) as well as send me to a headache clinic. The closest/best one is in Chicago. So, I'm definitely keeping myself busy trying to figure out how to stop/lessen these damn things. It's been 9 days since the last one, so so far so good!

Won't be buying any of the Paint Pots, they crease like crazy on me. :(
I use a primer underneath my paintpots. I remember the mua was like im not supposed to do that since the pots prime my eyes and im like umm no without primer i get creases like nobodys business so ill stick to what works for me lol

I use a primer underneath my paintpots too. I use a primer underneath just about all of my eye makeup.

Yup, a layer of tfsi THEN paint pot makes a world of difference! Without primer they get crazy creasy, but with primer they last until I take them off.

I slept in paint pots and they didn't crease. I'm certain I was primerless. If I'm worried I use primer, but for everyday I do not under paint pots. I actually don't even use eye primer on the daily. I don't work with the public and service internal customers by phone/email so I don't really care if my shadow creases. If I'm going out I use primer.

Again, I'm still using my trusty Beige-ing! I will  when i run out of those. But before those came out, i just ran the teeny tiniest bit of moisturizer on my lids before applying my shadows. Nothing creases on me!
