RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

Hmm I was super excited about this and was planning to spend quite a bit, but now I think I will just get RRW ls, lg and lp. I think I should try and save more for the holiday collection? ( not the riri holiday) Erine what's your verdict? lol

That pink R on the packaging is extremely ugly and completely out of place. I'm never bothered by tacky. I straddle that line and have probably fallen over a few times. This, however, is not cute. Good thing I don't want a damn thing from it. It actually reflects how I feel about most of Rihanna's fashion: You almost had it honey, and then you threw in that one ridiculous thing to screw it all up.

lol totally agree!!! I'm still getting RRW lipstick liner and gloss cuz I want them to match!

I never buy because of packaging, but i will skip because of it. I'm sure the pencils will just be the solid rose gold colour (actually looks more metallic pink to me), so that's fine, but if i do get TTT (depending on the dark colour from retro matte), those will be depotted promptly!

Girls, call me stupid, but I think the shiny rose gold packaging with the mirrored finish might be a bit fancier than it seems. While looking through some more pictures, I kind of got this theory! I think the metallic mirrored packaging might be a colder, heavier, quality plastic. Mirrored products like this usually are made a bit more nicely- think the outside of an old fashioned, shiny silver toaster. (except rose gold colored.)

I think the packaging is tacky but tacky in the most fabulous way! Idk about y'all but I'm loving the shiny. I'd expect nothing less from Rihanna.  Unless it was a shiny gunmetal! Ooooh

I would probably like gunmetal packaging better but I don't want it to be shiny. Maybe textured! Lol

Yea me either, but I thought it could've been done without the pink R. Reminds me of a lightening/Thunder sign for some reason. I do like how its not it its blk packaging thought. LOL!

Love that quad but hate the packaging. Estee Lauder does some decent gold packaging don't know why this looks so shitty. Guess its the riri curse. Skip!

I thinking the same thing. It's not the worst packaging that i've ever seen but it could be a lot better. I was hoping for more.
