I never pay attention to the packaging since I'm far more interested in what's inside, what bothers me though is that we are obligated to pay extra for packaging and on top of that its cheap and tacky

I love everything rose gold, but the pink R is not hot. I think I have bought an item or two because of packaging, but it turned out to be something I liked. I'm not interested in these products, so the ruined packaging just makes it easier to skip. I'm definitely not getting another RRW. Not only because I don't need a fifth, but that lipstick packaging is probably worst of all. I don't want to be seen with that in public. :lol: I think maybe the RRW liner and gloss and isn't there a coral in the collection? I haven't been following this too much. They might be mine if I can get them in store because I am completely soured on this online business. That nude looks like it'll be horrid with my complexion.

I thinking the same thing. It's not the worst packaging that i've ever seen but it could be a lot better. I was hoping for more.

I think what really grinds my gears most about the packaging is that it has the RiRi script plus the big stupid pink R. Pick one or the other. We get it, it's all about RiRi, but slapping every damn label on it is just turning me off. My list has been happily shortened.

^^^^^ I agree. I don't like the packaging and I'm turned off by the thought that ill have to Pay more because of it. I hope I really love the products that I plan on purchasing. It's always about the product for me, I never buy things or skip then because of packaging. Hopefully they're worth it :shrugs:

That pink R on the packaging is extremely ugly and completely out of place. I'm never bothered by tacky. I straddle that line and have probably fallen over a few times. This, however, is not cute. Good thing I don't want a damn thing from it. It actually reflects how I feel about most of Rihanna's fashion: You almost had it honey, and then you threw in that one ridiculous thing to screw it all up.

THIS. And let's not get started on her line for River Island.

I'm in the boat with the people who don't care for the packaging but still will buy from this collection. However I also agree that they should have picked one or the other when it came to the logo/design. I would have much preferred just the signature, since that would be consistent with what's already came out.

Girls, call me stupid, but I think the shiny rose gold packaging with the mirrored finish might be a bit fancier than it seems. While looking through some more pictures, I kind of got this theory! I think the metallic mirrored packaging might be a colder, heavier, quality plastic. Mirrored products like this usually are made a bit more nicely- think the outside of an old fashioned, shiny silver toaster. (except rose gold colored.)
