MAC Wipes

I've been using Ponds wipes because they're cheap and I can normally get a great sale for them at Ulta. They're effective at removing my makeup, but I find them drying to my skin. They also tend to dry out in the package as they start to get low. I bought a package of MAC wipes at a CCO just to try out. I like that they seemed more moisturizing compared to the Ponds wipes, but now I find them to be greasy. I still like them better than Ponds.

However, I recently purchased Neutrogena makeup wipes from Ulta. I find them comparable to MAC wipes. I opted for the hard container. I like that it keeps the wipes moist. I'll buy refills in the plastic packaging and will continue to reuse the hard case. I can also get them on sale at Ulta.
I tried the Ponds a while back and forget why I didn't like them. Maybe I'll have to grab a sample pk. of them. The MAC ones are just getting so expensive. When you break down the per wipe price, it makes you cringe! I haven't tried the Neutrogena ones yet, so I'll watch for a deal on those and grab some.
Appreciate your response!

Great tips in this thread. I've been using drugstore brand makeup remover and Olay cleansing cloths to remove my makeup but will try baby wipes.

Right now I'm on a small travel pack of Walmart's Equate Original Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes. They were under $2 iirc. LOL. These take off everything! One wipe is usually all it takes to get the job done. I really like them. The package says "compare to Pond's Original Fresh Wet Cleansing Towelettes". When these are gone I will use up the travel pack of MAC wipes that I just received and then I will go back to the Equate ones because they work really well and they're cheaper than MAC.

I no longer want to buy the bulk sized wipes because well, I don't wear makeup everyday and I've had lots of wipes to kind of dry out on me. These travel sized packs are great for me because by the time I get to the last one, it'll still be wet.

I've heard good things about Kirkland's wipes from Costco and we're getting ready to get our first store in the city but seeing as I know Costco only sells bulk items, I don't even wanna risk having them dry out on me.

I used to use baby wipes years ago.

Guuurl, i buy the baby wipe hard case and refill it for actual baby wipe use. Why did i not until just now think to buy a hard case and refill it with my mac wipes!? :durr: Then i can b2m my wipe package faster!

i use em everyday and love em! been using em for years. one wipe removes all my makeup, and when i use glitter i do have to use two but no more than that. they are a makeup remover, and not a cleanser, so you still need to clean your face with cleanser. i do feel a little slick after using it, but that's just for about 10 minutes or so. after that my skin feels clean, soft and moisturized.
I agree! I swore they weren't worth it at first but when I finally bought a pack I was hooked. I buy the bulk packs because I use them every day too...and it only takes one wipe to remove makeup (I'll use a second one if I use glitter like you said too). I'm mad I didn't know until now that the packages could be B2M'd! I thought about it briefly once but I assumed they wouldn't count and didn't bother to ask.

I like them...But I prefer Unscented Baby Wipes ..... I have used them for 15 years and just don't see a real reason to change...I do have both but I always reach for the baby wipes..and don't care if a waste a few because they are cheap
I dislike them. I totally agree though, baby wipes are the way to go! Philosophy wipes are really good too but $$
