Layin Low is matte

SOLD! I have not read through the whole topic so I miss that. I'm hoping it's paler the Painterly. I've been using Bobbi Brown 16 Bone as a base but it's not that cost effective as a MAC Paint Pot.

Add these to my watch for list.

Perky-creamy coral with white pearl
Rubenesque-golden peach with gold pearl
Layin' Low-creamy beige
Camel Coat-muted beige

With my ingot palette I've been actually drill tiny pinprick holes in the one corner of the well of the pans trough the magnets and into the back. But if their stick I use a long bar magnet as well I picked up from Canadian Tire. ;)

Yeah definitely not paler, a shade darker, maybe 2, and peachy, not pink or beige.

Is anyone else hoping that the Layin' Low-creamy beige and Camel Coat-muted beige are matte. I want some pale matte nude bases. ;)
Me too. I can't recall how shiney/pearlescent is Rubenesque? I think I swapped it before because it was just too shiney a look for me. My tastes change though.

I have Layin' Low from Fafi. It's a beautiful matte color, a lot like Painterly only darker.

I'm really glad this will be permanent (this and the Retro Matte collection being perm will really help not break the bank all at once haha). $20 a pop is bad, but I still will get them, just a few at a time. I have quite the list too, so I'm glad I'll be able to spread my purchases out. My pre-swatches list is: Let's Skate (I've wanted it for awhile, so I might as well get it) Perky (I'm so excited for this color, I've been waiting for it to come back!) Rubenesque Layin' Low Clearwater (Sea foam?!?! Yes please!) Camel Coat Taylor Grey Stromy Pink Constructivist

I always want to think I will wait and drag out permanent collections. In reality, new upcoming collections will most likely overshadow that intention. I had planned initially to get the 159 brush sometime later on however I impulsively ended up getting it with my TT haul. I have realized that I will be getting much less from RiRi Fall than I had originally predicted. That ultimately indicate more funds to allocate toward the new Pressed Pigments (3 perm and 3 limited edition) as well as a couple items from this collection. I am feeling more satisfied and contended with this decision versus chasing potentially less than satisfactory celebrity inspired hype.

What a relief, right?!

So excited for those pigments, which 6 are you getting?

Summer Honey, Pink Pepper, Moth, Black Grape, Rock Candy and either Damson or Lime Ice. Vanilla Diamond seem to be a bit too pale and not as unique when compared to previous PP launches and Midnight may be a bit too in your face bright for me. I normally prefer greens like Humid, When in Rio and I like the look of Eat and Love in Indulge. Damson's color description can prove to be a bit tricky on my skin tone so have to see it in person hence the temporary indecision.

Damson should look nice but do you think Summer Honey will look ok and won't be too light? Sweet Acting is barely pink on me.

Eventually I'll get the bolded.

Layered it may be exceptionally nice. I really like how it looks so hope it doesn't disappoint. Maybe will look good with Expensive Pink? You never know with these that is why I am going in-store. Looks can be so deceiving!

Sweet Acting definitely is barely there on me with a slightly visible hint of pale pink.

I'm trying to decide which brown I like more...Indianwood or Construcivist? also trying to decide whether I really want to spend $20 on the Clearwater one... I usually go for neutral eyes I don't know if this would even look good on me! how do u all think it will compare to the makeup forever aqua cream #53 that came out recently?

I've also been so caught up with every new collection that I hardly touch my perm wish list, so I'm now forcing myself to at least buy one perm product with each collection.
