  Here I was thinking I would be using the #70 that I ordered as a bronzer.  I should just call this     mystery powder because at this point how I'll be using it is a real mystery.       Nevertheless, thank you for sharing your findings.  At least I know I'll be getting an "amazingly     luxurious silky extremely fine milled" product.
Instant glow, no real coverage. They smell like PL which I love.
Thanks Teger! That picture looks perfectly accurate! I know they're sheer, but I'm still concerned 70 might be a smidge too dark, however it's not as red as 60. I may just go with 70 anyway, though. I'd love to know if these oxidize!
It didn't oxidize on me.
Went all over my local mall today and the powder was nowhere to be found. :crybaby: Heaven knows I don't need it, but I want it.
Nordstrom had them on counter for preorder this past weekend. As 70 is the darkest shade, it's really a tint to me. No real coverage, just a pretty luxurious glow without any shimmer or micro glitter.

Here's a picture of the testers.. I feel the colors are quite accurate

50 looks almost darker than 60, perhaps it is the tones -- thanks for pic!

Here is a video with a few of the shades on browner skin http://youtube.com/watch?v=RjtsWvMeLIs If the link doesn't work. The video is under TheLuxeBabe on YouTube. Her vid got me hype on this product months ago. She has both shade 60 and 70
Very interesting. This reminds me a bit of the new MUFE powder foundation because the colors are so damn light in the pan that it throws you off. However, the MUFE product is a full on foundation and this powder isn't. The woman in this video is #114 in Perfection Lumiere and #60 in this powder is her match when she's not tanned. This tells me I need to go up to #50 or possibly even #40. I don't tan, or at least not enough to change the shade I need. I avoid the sun like the plague. ETA: Just found this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVSKNSU5ggs If you jump to 4:12, she gets into the powder. She bought #40 and so now I am pretty sure I'm #50 because I am a bit darker than she is it seems (at least judging by her face).

I'm 104 in PL and I tried on 70. 114 in PL is darker and more yellow, where as 104 is lighter and more red. 70 seems to work for both shades. The powders didn't really go in a true light to dark range, like 70 is the darkest, compared to 60, and 50, but any color may match as they are all different in undertone. I think someone could be both 50 and 60, but will need to choose which one based on their undertone. I swear this powder really has no color when blended, just a glow, lol . Which I love!!!!

What's the deal on the brush? Has anyone found out yet. They said they didn't get it at the Nordstrom counter. I don't mind it being online only, but I want to feel it up myself.

I couldn't get a good photo, but here's me wearing no. 10 all over

I had successfully resisted this until now... Seeing that lovely diffused and luminous look it gives you, though, makes me want to grab one. I've hit pan on my Nars powder, which means that I do have to get something to carry with me...

Yep, not sure how these are going to work for everyone because of how sheer they are. I guess they are more like a Mac beauty powder.
That's what I was hoping for! When everyone was saying that they looked bronzey or glowy, I was disappointed but I'm definitely looking for a nice all over luminous powder.

Oh yes Katred grab one, it's a must-have and honestly speaking the price is quite nice ( compared to other powders ). It's luminous and after a few hours les Beiges melts into the skin, I am always surprised at this, clearly it's very very good.

Yep, my Nordies didn't even know about it. When I said kabuki brush, she's like yeah we have it & brought out their usual little one

I'm like yeahhhhhhh, that's not the LB one

I bought mine awhile back from my singapore connection when it was released there. The brush is REALLY REALLY soft & luxurious.

I preordered #10. Decided to give this powder a try. I am still on the fence about the brush though.

Hey Ladies...

Ya'll are SERIOUSLY bad for my wallet!
lol.gif
I just looked at that picture of the powders in real life and if those are the true colors (also taking into consideration darkening/oxidation on oily types like me), then they look to run a little dark? I looked at the videos and they did not help me at ALL. The lighting in those videos are off.

I ordered two of them because the yellow toned ones look too light and the red toned ones look too dark. I'm yellow, but can get reddish around the edges in the summer. I'm not going to reveal which colors yet because I have a theory. But I'm a teensy bit annoyed that I had to order two (like the girl who had to get 60 and 70). They are too expensive not to match perfectly imo.

Haven I'm not getting that brush. 70.00 for a synthetic kabuki brush is madness.

For real though... I have a ton of Kabuki & Kinoko brushes (including the goat ones from Hakuhodo) and I'm sure one of them will work just fine.

Well I cannot wait to hear what you think once you get them. The shades are really forgiving. I would be surprised if these oxidize.
I want the yellow based one if it does correct & still want the 60 for a bit of color.

I can't wait to try them elegant! I've actually never met a powder that 'didn't oxidize on me. I'm VERY oily. I got one for the center of my face, and one for the edges (since I'm two different colors naturally). I have a billion bronzers, so I didn't look at the darker shades. I want to do that overall 'effortless' thing that they're promoting with this product. We'll see how it works. I looked at Lisa Eldridge's video and she used 20 (she's very yellow naturally), and it looked flawless on her.

I hate that we have to wait for them. I'm excited to get the powder and the brush. I have other
kabukis, but this is so darned pretty. Besides which, none of my kabukis are
retractable!! Reason enough for moi! Well, that and you've endorsed it my Elegant One!!!

Thanks, lady. I'll think of myself as a vampire now. That'll remind me of True Blood and that'll remind me of Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and that will make me happy.

If there isn't a shade that matches perfectly, then I'm not buying it (or I'll be returning it). I don't care if a face product is only $20, I'm not working around it. Just shouldn't be necessary. I can't wait to see what color is best for you because I know that's the one I'll need.
