I agree!Hmmm interesting....didn't realize u could do that...I'm going to search it up....but I would've like packaged tube lipsticks...lol
I switched to the violet palette b/c I like the colors better. I have a ton of gold/beige e/s that don't get love. Anyone besides me wonder why the Copper palette doesn't have any copper e/s in it??? I guess my expectations just are peculiar. I would have loved a nice warm toned Copper palette with some red browns, coppers, peaches, terra cotta, etc. Money saved I guess. Thanks so much itsbcuzirock !!!!!! Def getting this palette.
I wouldve loved something like that as well. Sad there isnt one.I switched to the violet palette b/c I like the colors better. I have a ton of gold/beige e/s that don't get love. itsbcuzirock thank you so much for all the palette p0rn--you really do rock!
I agree single eyeshadows are better. I have 4 M.A.C quads and a Glitter and Ice palette, I do use them quite often but I am not a huge fan of the quads/palettes ( more a UD fan ). However I don't understand why this very impressive collection won't be available here, it will be a Paris exclusive ( and maybe online ? ), those packagings are really to die for, and eyeshadows look decent. Sad because it's an artistic collection !I'm with you on this. I prefer single e/s and have never bought a MAC quad. I did get one palette, the neutral one from the Glitter&Ice collection and have barely touched it. Then I fell into the hype of the Naked palette but sold it, cause it was just not for me and I never reached for it. I had given up on palettes, but recently I bougth an old Givenchy one and now I also got the Shiseido one I was eyeing and I'm very happy with those choices. I guess the key is to only buy a palette if you really love all of the colours in it. Or else it won't get enough love, at least in my experience.
lol come to think of it I do have tons of golds that don't get no type of love and I love pink and I don't have too much beige lol. I'm doomed to get it, but the violet palette does look pretty as well. I'm just going to get one palette though I have enough eye shadows and palettes as it is lol.I switched to the violet palette b/c I like the colors better. Those two duos, On the Hunt and Marche aux Puces, from Style Seeker last year brought me all the coppery goodness I could crave. If those had been packaged as a quad I would have gotten it for sure.I switched to the violet palette b/c I like the colors better. I have a ton of gold/beige e/s that don't get love. I'm no longer impressed with my Naked and Smoked palette.I'm with you on this. I prefer single e/s and have never bought a MAC quad. I Like to use one for bold and vampy lippies. I like to start with a sheer layer till I get my desired effect. I find it easier then using a liner. I'll prob still pass the lip pallets though. I can see it going bad faster then ones in bullet formI don't do lip palettes either. I rarely use a lip brush.
Sadly, I scored MaP in a sale here and have not even tested it, I guess am waiting for the perfect time to break it out. (too much stuff, which I have not even tried yet, which is why I really need to cut back but I will break into it the next time I feel "coppery." )Wow, I thought you wound up getting one of the quads from Strength. I'm not much of a quad buyer, either - I want all 4 colors to be perfect for me. For years, all I had was the Leopard Luxe quad (which I still use a ton - all 4 colors have pretty healthy dents in them and the darkest shade is still in my top 3 black shadows). This year, MAC gave me some perfect quads, though, with All Woman, Rainy Day and Temperature Rising. Funny how they never seem to do single shadows in those sorts of taupes and greys that are good for very warm coloring around the eyes.
The palettes are not my speed though, because there are just too many colors in them for them all to work on me, the way MAC mixes them up. My MA has been raving about this collection, but I don't think I'm going to fall for any of them. I will skip all the lipstick palettes for sure - that is just way too cumbersome for me.

This collection is going to be a skip for me, the way things are looking….

Those palettes aren't too cheap, so I'm sure it adds up. I really like their philantropic palettes though, so I'll definitely be getting this one.Yea I am so excited for it! 5% of all sales of it will go to the Humane Society saving land for wild horses... Not much but hey its something.I read horses and just HAD to have a look!! What a beautiful palette!! I'm not sure I'd be able to use it, it's too pretty!!
