I am a crazy nut addict that ordered the lipsticks. They are very pretty and full of pigment.


Fall color is the 2 Asian Exclsuive quads, plus another. I got to play around with the fall collection and it is lovely.

The liquid liner is very black and makes a nice line. I already have the quads, but there is another I will pick up.

The Trio's look boring , but are wearable, one glitter shade of course.
I loved the eye primer, it is creamy and feels nice.

As for brush sets, they may come out with just the case to buy, but no sets have been mentioned yet.

I stopped at Saks to get the Burnished Amber and SA said they were out of stock. She tried to Oder but there was a problem with the compute RSI she wasn't sure it went through. Meanwhile she showed me the fall items for pre ordering. I was so tired I didn't think to swatch. I did pre-order the trios and liner and primer. Niece is right, they are boring colors but I like basics sometimes. Al that wait time and I completely forgot about trying Bergdorf for Burnished Amber. They had it! I hope I don't end up with 2 now. Bergdorf was doing preordering too. They said they were almost filled up with the pre ordering. They said it was not coming out until September too. As far as the Asia exclusives, I don't know if I want them. They don't look too different from Enchanted and the Violet Dusk looks more vibrant and pigmented. As per Sara's great swatches and pics. I'm curious about the third quad now.

I don't believe that they are discontinuing Burnished Amber, one of my favorite quads :-( I also don't understand that they discontinue both of the purples. Violet Dusk is really close to Lavender Lust (check out comparison post here http://www.colormeloud.com/2013/06/blog-post-series-tom-ford-quads-iii.html ) but Crushed Amethyst was a very wearable purple that I loved :-( Seductive Rose though is fabolous, you may all like to get it. I believe that it is more interesting and varsatile than the pink trio (which I haven't checked in person, I am writing depending on the swatches I have seen) And the decision to discontinue Black Orchid... I just don't know what to say...

I agree that it is odd. I was told that those 4 quads were on the list of discontinued items along with some other products.

Nope and I forgot to ask about it. If the SA calls me, I will ask. She said she would call if the pre-order didn't go through the computer as they were having computer issues today.

Do we know when those quads are supposed to be discontinued? NM should be having their Beauty event in early Sept. so I'd like to wait until then but I'm not sure if they will be gone by then.

Looks like I am going to end up with 2 Burnished Ambers. I called the SA and she said it already shipped. She said I could exchange it when I pick up my pre- order. I forgot to ask about the discontinued quads. I was surprised that they found one at another store. I would imagine the other quads would be in stock until they sell out. I doubt they would just remove it. But then again I have been hearing of Tom Ford products at the CCO but as yet I haven't found any makeup items just perfume.

I'm disappointed that the Lip Colour Shine didn't launch at my counter. Not sure if they will eventually come. I want to try Quiver. I haven't bought anything from this brand yet.

Finally bought my first tom ford makeup!! I got black orchid. I tried it on at the store and loved it but then when i got home and looked at it in the tube side by side dark deed it looked really similar. I havent swatched it next to each other because i want to take pictures for my blog before i ruin it lol but im praying they are not the same. If they are ill just exchange it for coco ravish which might be a good nude for me (havent tried it yet) I also want a blush and the shade and illuminate 2. I just love the packaging for tom ford

you are so sweet, i really appreciate the info - THANK YOU! love your blog as well! i use all the C eye stylos from summer + the illusion d'ombres - i do use the delicatasse quad, does that compare to any of TF's? (i think you have too, i read blog quick, will read more on w/e!)

must check out this grown up glitter! can't wait to see how it mixes with the illusion d'ombres!

love glitter, sometimes i put on chanel's reverie loose powder just because - i think it is glorious and will even do a dust before the beach for fun! i wear it on body not face btw!!

I found this blog with pics. She mentions a different quad being discontinued. She says the liner and mascara and primer are permanent. She says she has pics of 2 of the new quads. I wonder if the country might account for the difference in information. Time will tell.
