Well, I was going to return 40 today, but then my receipt magically disappeared. So, I just have to eat it, but I'm not mad. I used both powders today and there is just no difference to the naked eye. I used 40 on my jawline because I'm a bit darker there and..there's no big difference. I can just consider it my backup and I love it enough for that. The mirror is so nice that I can carry 40 around for that purpose since I never seem to hold on to all my cheapie little compact mirrors. I'll have no problem whipping this out in public.

I don't know. It's possible. That Neiman Marcus is notorious for finding a reason to refuse returns.

That's why they should loose customers. I rarely ever return anything, but if i really dislike something and i paid for it , i want to be able to return it. it's my mine and i do not like to waste it.

Yeah, that's why I've only bought makeup from them one other time. They got this collection first and I was desperate to get my hands on it. Otherwise, I stay far away from Neiman's. The good thing is that I love the powder and I can use it. So, there's that.

I bought from them only once, or maybe twice. One of those two purchases product came cracked. Their CS sucked. And I only bought from them because it was exclusive for NM.

I like nordstrom, good CS.

I am waiting to get macys gift card and use it on Beige powder.

I love Nordstroms. I just love the vibe of all the stores I've been to and their online shipping is beyond quick.

I'm really confused as to what color I should get. I'm think I'm typically a beige in most foundations. I use MUFE Duomat 207 Golden Beige. Any recommendations? I was thinking the 20 might work.

Its an all-over sheer face powder. Kind of like Mac's Beauty Powders.

Like Elegant said, they improve the appearance of your skin, when worn all over the face, the darker shades can be used to bronze the face and the
lighter shades to highlight the face---it just depends on how you want to use it. Oh and also as you mentioned, as a base. HTHs. I think you'd enjoy it.

thank you elegant!! idk if youve heard but i ended up caving in and getting Tom Ford's Black Orchid.

lol now i want a blush (its between wicked and savage) but i dont have any tom ford counters near me that sells the full tom ford beauty line so that i can make my final decision. my nordies only sells the fragrance and my bloomies only sells the fragrance and lipsticks

I hope they gave you a good explanation. I pre-ordered, and
ordered a second powder that should arrive tomorrow. I hope you're able to decide on a shade & reorder.

ooo i love your hair in ur pic! i went into bloomies and i did a heavy swatch with my finger on the back of my hand and 30 seems lighter than me skin and 40 looked like the wrong undertone for me. but when i blended them in they seemed the same lol but i think i might end up keeping 30. we shall see when they arrive tomorrow.

None of my counters have TF either. I'm going to check out those blushes to see what they look like.

I'm in love with this powder. My No 30 arrived today and I love it just as much as No 70, both of which I've worn as all-over face powders. The formula is magical in that I can wear these extreme shades for the same purpose. For color purposes only, I compared LB 30 to MAC MSFN Med Deep & Dark, and MAC Mystery Powder in Dark Secret. The shades are pretty close. I also love that the brush washes so nicely---I'm a bit OCD about my brushes being clean.
