Gigolo is gorgeous

Ok so i finally caved and bought my first Rouge G lipstick this weekend

I have been eyeing them for a long time but i always held back cause of the price. Was gonna try one of the Guerlain fall lipsticks, but since the fall collection hasn't been released here yet and i was getting a bit impatient, i decided to already get one from the regular line

I ended up with #70 Gigolo, and i must say i'm in love with the formula

It's so smooth, pigmented and moisturizing! Okay the price is a bit steep, but so worth it. I might even skip a few other fall products and get all 3 Rouge G's instead.

On my hand it was a slightly warm red, like something I already have, maybe Flamboyante? I think I can pass. Did you get any of the Rouge Gs?

Not yet because I want to order from Nordstrom, but I am thinking Flirte and Reve.

It's great ! The Rouge G is really the most beautiful ever. I have one ( extrait/stain in fact ), it's long wearing and very pigmented. So you plan to buy some more

Ah you mean the Rouge G L'Extrait liquid lipsticks? I'm interested in those as well lol

I really like Orgueil and Gourmandise from the swatches i've seen. Which one do you have? And yes Guerlain's fall collection this year is just stunning, can't wait to get my hands on the Madame Rougit blush and the lipsticks

I saw the collection today, but didn't buy anything since I've already ordered the blush and the lipsticks. I do like the gold/purple duo very much, I might get that sometime soon. Has anyone seen the eyeliners? I forgot to check them out, but they seem really nice in the swatches.

I'm not quite sure about the status of those either, because my counters still have them. You made a great choice with Gigolo. It's a fantastic colour and possibly my favourite Rouge G.

I have comparison pictures for Gigi, Madame Batifole and Gigolo. I'd say Gigi is a tad lighter and Gigolo is a bit darker than Mme Batifole. Definitely not dupes. First picture was taken with flash, the second without.

Doh, I've just realised (having swatched Gigolo next to Mme Batifole) that Gigolo isn't actually red. I was mixing it up with Garconne which is a gorgeous red. Still, Gigolo is beautiful too.
