Okay ladies, I have some more swatches for you. I've compared Provocative to Mac Full Fuchsia, Impassioned, Guerlain Girly Rouge G and Champs-Elysees Rouge Automatique. Full Fuchsia is pinker and a tad lighter, Champs-Elysees is pinker, Impassioned and Girly are more coral than pink (and pretty much dupes!).

First picture without flash, second with flash. Girly on left, Full Fuchsia on top, then Provocative, then Impassioned at the bottom, Champs-Elysees on the right.





I also compared Provocative to Mac Party Parrot, Revlon Cherry Blossom (or Cherries In The Snow which is practically the same) and Guerlain L'Extrait in Gourmandise. As you can see Party Parrot is quite different, lighter and more coral. Gourmandise is quite similar, but less blue. However, it seems that Revlon Cherry Blossom / Cherries In The Snow is a pretty good dupe. Maybe a tiny bit darker, but otherwise pretty much the same. Hope this helps.

Oh and I wore Provocative today and it lasted a good 3 hours without fading away leaving a pretty stain behind. Nice!

Thanks so much for all of your comparisons! Glad to know that it's nothing like Party Parrot. It's such a pretty color and I don't think I own anything like it!

Thanks Anitacska! I definitely want Madame Batifole, but I feel like Provocante will be different enough for me to justify it as well... Now I'm just trying not to get tempted into buying Madame Rougit.

I called the Saks Guerlain counter yesterday. Good thing as the fall line was in. I went in today and the SA tried to show me the other products but I just have too much on my wish list right now to even look. She didn't push but rang up my blush and threw in a gift (makeup bag with mini skincare items and mascara). She said it was a thank you for coming back to her. She even put my bag in plastic as it was raining. And to think, I debated ordering from Nordstrom. I'm glad I went in. I will go back and try the other products. There was a really pretty pink lipstick. It didn't say fall to me though and the gloss and shadows look nice.

Got an email this morning that the fall lipsticks are delayed from Nordstrom. Boo! I went ahead and cancelled my order since they appear to be in stock in San Francisco and I'm going there next weekend. At least it will be a fun treat to pick them up in person!

Went to Neiman Marcus and I bought the new foundation! Ok its thick, creamy, very full coverage, and when I wore it on Saturday it lasted about 12 hours looking great and then started to degrade after that... But it was also 102 degrees and I got sweaty. I got 02 Beige Clair........ my perfect match is 31 Ambre Pale and I mix 02 in it during the summer. Since they do not make 31 in this new foundation I may get 01 and just have to blend blend blend. But overall I like it! Photos (excuse my superrrrr pale wrists, they are the palest part of my body and never get color LOL)

Left is Tenue De Perfection, right is Lingerie De Peau (both 02 Beige Clair)

My skin type is normal to dry. I have been keeping my skin super moisturized so I do not know if it would enhance the dryness or any dry spots.

It was a bit of a blur, but I managed to glean a few items from the spring collection:
- Maxi Lash mascara in mocha
- Eyeshadow quad in aqua or green
- Two new eyeshadow duos (didn't catch the colours)
- Meteorite pearls
- Meteorite bubble blush (I think multiple colours)

There was also a mention of Cruel Gardenia (maybe a repromote?).

I'm interested in the pearls and the bubble blush and it would be great if Cruel Gardenia came back!
