THE LIPPIES HAVE LANDED. I found the new Rouge Dior line on display in my Shoppers Drug Mart. Of course, I can't turn my back on a new lip formula... I bought Monmartre, which is an absolutely gorgeous vibrant coral that leans pink/ red rather than orange. The colour is lovely and quite unique, at least in my collection. The formula feels lovely. I liked the previous Rouge Dior lipsticks, but I found they were a touch dry/ing. These are lovely and creamy. It's hot and disgustingly humid here today, so I don't think it's a really fair evaluation of the wear time, but I would say that it applies and stays creamy and soft, with a fair amount of slip (but thus far no observed feathering) and fades to a lovely and very even stain. I've carried groceries home uphill and have been sipping on a drink and there is still plenty of colour. The initial slip isn't there, but my lips feel exceptionally soft. (I should add that my lips are in ROUGH shape right now, owing to a flare-up of allergies.)

Here's a photo with the remaining colour, more like a stain. It applies brighter than what you see here, but I kind of like it like this as well.

Looks so stunning on you, can't wait to get my hands on those and Monmartre is definitely on my wish list!

katred - Very pretty! I'll look out for this colour. I walked passed the counter yesterday but they were not there yet. I haven't seen any swatches out there too. I only have 1 in the old formula. The new packaging looks more modern, can't wait to see them!

Beautiful look Katred!

Has anyone seen the new blushes in store? I really would like to try the peachy coral one (don't remember the #), but I haven't seen it anywhere.

Did you purchase 999 ?
Thanks very much (to all)! I didn't purchase 999, but it's definitely on my list.

There are several of the older/ existing Rouge Dior shades that seem to have been redone in the new formula. I don't think they were old testers just inserted in the new display, either. They seemed to be in the new packaging. I'm kind of confused now as to what's staying and what's going.

FYI, applied at "full strength" Monmartre is somewhat similar to the l/e Mac colour Toxic Tale. It's not quite as bright and leans a little more pink, but they are comparable.

I hate that I missed Bonne Etoile. I guess I'll have to wait for it to pop up somewhere, as I'm not sure I trust ebay

It's still available online at this Canadian department store, the Bay: http://www.thebay.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/en/thebay/5-couleurs-star-edition I don't know if they'll ship to the US, but you could check it out.
