Ladies, is Madame rougit a must have?!? I cannot decide if I should get it or not. Let me know what you think.

for me, I think it is beautiful but it barley showed up on me! I am a 4 I think in guerlain foundation.... on another note, I found turnadot eye quad at the G boutique at the breakers - they also had coup de foudre and some other le's.....so if anyone is looking, they are there!! they also had the LE mosaic bronzer at 50% off! also, I spoke to G Las Vegas and was told G started a new policy of destroying LE items!! he said it started this year!! the G store at the breakers is not owned by G so they do not follow this policy.....

A big skip for me too, I think this Holiday collection is not classy. And again Paris, la Petite Robe Noire, it's déjà vu ! I love Guerlain, I love Paris but this collection is a skip !

I agree too! the G boutique said they were trying to be different + hip and cater to a young clientele the crazy Paris bronzer looks nice but it looks like the one the put out in a summer collection

no kidding! he said about two months ago management started this policy - such a shame to go to makeup heaven for no reason but someone sitting in an office somewhere prob decided this would make their products more sought after, who knows!! this is only for G owned stores.... I have heard stories like this regarding high end leather goods too btw, I am not sure 100% but I believe Louis Vuitton does this for LE collections....

Would make sense, since they're owned by the same company. I suspect they're trying to drive up demand for LE products by preventing them from ending up in the hands of eBay boutiques or online clearance houses. But it's kind of gross that they would then force their stores to waste product like that.

This has been a pretty big thing with French brands lately, a lot of them are trying to create a new level of exclusivity for their products. I'm a Chanel collector and the price increases over the past 2 years on classic flaps have been ridiculous, they apparently want their classics to be on par with Hermès and not as accessible. That's probably what Guerlain is doing with their destroying products

I could think of 100 other ways i'd rather spend that large of a chunk of my savings account than on a hermes bag LOL! I if they do that kind of wasting they should send out more items pre-launch to beauty bloggers to really get the hype up... Considering they would just trash them anyway

I am not sure they have anything that really gives full coverage.
Maybe lingerie de peau for combo skin but colors are so limited . try getting a sample
