Caved and bought Clearwater. However the SA claims that they aren't all perm?? Then argued when I said that's not what I had heard? Hmmm...

I thought this collection was going to be all perm and that there was only confusion about the retro mattes. Which ones are not perm of the paint pots?

SA needs a  :lecture: You don't argue with a customer, especially when she's right! I would have left the paint pot there though and just bought it online. 

I suspect that was her way of trying to convince me to buy everything. Making me think I HAVE to buy it all now before its "gone".

And you haven't even heard about the "makeover" she gave me. LOL. I am certain she knew no colour names since she kept saying" this brown", "this pink". She did my eyes and then said "ok done!"... um no fdtn? So she puts some on... but no concealer. Nothing under my eyes. A TON of dark pink blush. A bright GOLD highlight on my eyes. Liner wasn't even 100% lined up to my eye.

I had SA at mac nordstrom once argue with me about something... let's put it this way - store manager afterwards had to email me and call me to apologize.

And on the topic of use of paint pots I do not EVER use them. Ooops
I only have one and I think it's just blah... I do not understand hype about them, I wish I do

I only have painterly and I don't understand it either. I use it everyday as I bought it, but I need to use primer underneath or it won't last. I can't put too much or it wrinkles a lot and I don't see it enhancing the eyeshadows that much. But now that I use it everyday I've got used to it and I like how it leaves a blank canvas for the eyeshadows, so I may try one of the new ones in a colour that might enhance some of my favourite colours.

I think I'm keeping Camel Coat. I tried it today for the first time. I dabbed it onto my lids and I started to leave it like that but it reminded me of a color I have by MAC called Truce so I put Truce on top of it. I put just a little Saddle in the crease and Nehru on the outer corners and the crease below Saddle. Black liner and mascara. I rather like it. If I can get a picture that will show at least 3/4 of what it actually looks like in real life then I'll post it.

I think I can do more with it but I had to at least give it an initial try to get some more thoughts on it.

LOL no judging! I agree with the cycle thing. Got into MAC late and decided I need all the pigments in old jars I could find, pretty much ever MSF made and some of the Dame Edna lippies. Ri-damn-diculously expensive!

Well now that's a pretty long freakin list lol. Seems like alot of work in acquiring all that. Have you gotten most of it? I'm still ISO Dame Edna items, that in itself is hard enough -.-

I'm guessing you have a lot of taupes abjarrett? LOL! I don't have any taupes other than the 2 items I put on my eyes today. At least I don't think I do.

I have a ridiculous amount of taupe eyeshadows, pressed and loose. I have Tough as Taupe and I'm trying not to get Camel Coat and Tailor Gray. My taupe obsession is so bad that I even have a taupe lip gloss.
