I did a look with perky.  Perky on lid with freelove urban decay eyeshadow over it.  naked in crease and brown liner
I still have Perky from the fafi release and mines is still creamy. But I also plan to get a back up. I got Stormy pink and it looks similar to girl friendly which is lighter. Since gf is very beloved by me I can see SP will get lotsa love too

I'll BU Perky whenever these start to be phased out from the perm line... Still need to pick up SP when I receive my next check ;)

Okay, this is the best I could do. Some pics had it coming out more grayer than it is in real life.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Not really a taupe fan but I can see this as a nice fall look. What lipstick would you wear with this? I was thinking a dark wine color(which apparently you aren't a big fan of lol) or a nice dark red like JAB.

I think that day I just tossed on Fresh Brew. I didn't go anywhere so I either put on Fresh Brew or nothing that day. I just needed to try out that doggone Camel Coat. LOL. Yesterday I saw a pretty eye look that was done on Brandy and all I could think about when I saw her eye look was Camel Coat. I don't know what he used on her but it's just gorgeous. It's a really pretty taupish, greyed, beiged eye. Here it is...

I'll bet that Camel Coat would like nice with a nice shade like Deep Damson too. Something dark and purplish maybe? Or maybe a dark smoky green.

I don't use my paint pots as often as I should either. I don't care for them as bases for things like MES, EDES and PPs, plus I keep them all in a separate, tightly sealed container, all in the original boxes, so they're not always so easy to just grab one and go.

The ones I use the most are Idyllic and Dangerous Cuvee. I'm going to be using a lot of Camel Coat, though and Stormy Pink has a really unique matte look to it that is going to be making me reach for it a lot.
I think I'm like Liba. I don't see them an reach for them often. I have to wear a base with them anyway, so it's an extra step I usually skip.

Yes, that one was pretty.

I've been wearing Perky (as a base) a lot of late. Love it!

It has color collection properties and a lovely sheen (both needed). I think I want to try it alone as a no-makeup look e/s, although PPs usually crease on me on their own.

I have a ridiculous amount of taupe eyeshadows, pressed and loose. I have Tough as Taupe and I'm trying not to get Camel Coat and Tailor Gray. My taupe obsession is so bad that I even have a taupe lip gloss.
I love taupe SO MUCH and pounced on those tough even through I have TaT! I collect it in all forms also! If you cant' resist, I'd say go for Camel Coat, it's different enough from the color tattoo to be "justified". TG is much more similar but I couldn't help myself!!

I just avoid putting them in my crease, since they crease on me too and stick to the lid and maybe the brow area. I should dig out my Perky to use more. I like the idea of Perky only, I usually use PP as a base only, but Perky is pretty enough to stand alone.

I ordered samples of both of those and they should be here on Monday. If I really like both of them (and let's face it, I'll like them just because they're taupe), I'll buy them this week as a birthday present to myself.

I went to swatch a few of the paint pots tonight. I swatched Clearwater because I wanted to go home and see how close it was to Otherworldly. They're pretty close but I think Clearwater is a tad bit more baby blue/aqua-ish. Are they different enough to justify having both? I don't know because I barely wear Otherworldly as it is. I do know that I want Stormy Pink and perhaps Antique Diamond.

I love clearwater! I have used it as a base for S&TO from Indulge, then used it with Aquadisiac, Print, and Crystal Avalanche shadows, also by itself... Loveee it

I did my experiment today, and it was a success. I put a very thin layer of Perky from lash line upto my brows. Then I carved the eye shape with a light and a mid brown e/s (otherwise my old eyes would look odd) and lined them with a dark brown e/s (the e/s I used are from theBalm Naked Matt(e) palette). Perky has not creased and it gives my eyes a nice fresh look. I think I will use this eye with strong lippies a lot!

Stormy Pink PP and Strong Willed EL ended up in my possession earlier than I thought. Happy w/ both!
