RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

:shock: ok, I said I wasn't getting anything...I told a fib. I just called my nearest store & ordered TTT lipstick & lip pencil, RRW lip pencil & CCB Diamonds (she told me this was amazing on everyone) CCB Diamonds is suppose to have 'blurring' properties :amused: I could use that on a lot of body parts. Hopefully I'll get my delivery tomorrow because they're shipping it today.

Just when I had talked myself out of diamonds!!! Lol... I got to the mall at 9 and am 3rd in line... I hope this store doesnt have two TTT's! I'm at the Fashion Square location

It's a really small store, so maybe they didn't have much stock to begin with? They had the nerve to have different lippies in the testers, I don't now what that was all about? Dupes I guess? Why do they do that? If you're there you want what you want, not dupes, you know?

But anyway, that's that. Looks like y'all are having better luck. Getting my magazines ready for the waiting room...

Let me get this out of the way: I love TTT! It's beautiful on the lips. It's what I was hoping it would be. Looking at it with FoD, it's more purple while FoD has more red/berry. I prefer TTT. Also, It glided on beautifully. It actually goes on the lips smoother than it swatches. Big relief. Nude is everything! So weird, but great. It's not much deeper than my own lips, but there's a grey tint to it that makes it noticeable and interesting. I need backups of Nude and TTT. Hell, I might try and get 2 backups of each. WTC is really pretty. It's extremely frosty, light copper orange and much more flattering on me than Thrills from To the Beach. Really, really like it, but I don't know if it's backup worthy. Probably not. I won't wear it out like TTT and Nude. I got another RRW, but we don't need to be reminded how crazy I am about that lipstick (this makes 5!). BGGG is so pretty. I had no problems getting the color to show. To me, it's in the family of Coppertone. That's not to say they are the same, but it's that color family. It's like a universal blush in that you can pair it with tons of shadow/lip colors. So, anyone interested in TTT go for it! Don't be scared anymore. I don't know what was going on with those funky lip swatches we got before, but I had no problems. I will say it catches every flaw on your lips, so maybe that was the case. I am so happy with what I got. I just wish the shadow quads had been something special.

For the ladies heading to Rice Village they are sold out of the Nude and whos that chick, diamonds ccb and the blush. My stupid stuff got there an hour late. I thought they opened at 10 lol.

Yeah they opened an hour early. They had a lot of stock I guess it really picked up. I was out of there in like 20 minutes this morning.

I was there about at 11am and the only lippies left were TTT and RRW. I also tried the WTC on and I LOVED it. Figured I would. And yes, it does remind me of a slightly more orange Tea Cakes (from many years ago). I put lip moisturizer on before each application and didn't have any trouble.

On to the quads.....they're ok. Her Cocoa: I didn't like how the lustre worked (the one people say is retrospeck). The light color next to it plays very sheer. The 2 brown/bronzy colors look like the dupes everyone has mentioned. Those 2 do glide smoothly.

Smoked Cocoa: I like the 2 lighter shades. The 2 darker shades look like the grey glitter from pandamonium and the other dark color is nothing to write home about.

I love the blush!

Oh I can't wait to get it. This almost sounds like a Calvin Klein lipstick I used to have called Greige. I used to loooooove that lipstick.

My store had a stampede at 10am, they had to give out tickets because they couldn't keep track of everyone. By the time I got there at 11:30ish it looked like just a normal day. WTC sold out by the time I showed up. They literally had 2 WHOLE drawers of this collection! Plus I made sure to ask was there a limit, SA said no, get how many ever of whatever you want.

Several swipes of everything. TTT liner isn't all that even here but possibly will be on the lips. WTC and Nude aren't that bad, I don't see myself wearing either though.


BGGG is ok, Diamonds is really nice but I kept hearing what I think Shontay sounds like in my head talking about Chanel!



TTT & FOD HUGE difference on my hand and inner arm. FOD looks more of a reddish brown and TTT is more of a reddish purple. There were no patchy issues at all, it glided on my skin each and every time I swatched it!

I went by the Galleria since I was in town. They had everything and they said the stock was a lot. Also the lady at Rice said it was launching online tonight at 11pm central. So I would look out in case you ladies looking to order online.

Also, I got a rude awakening....the store in DC takes depots, but you have to have the label on the bottom. Apparently at their store they take your item out of the box and mark it on the bottom and give it to you w/o the box, that way you can't b2m a free item because it's marked. They don't do that at my NY store. I get it, though.

Here's a rant for you: I skipped my local NYC MAC altogether and went into jersey for my items. Sat there, waited an hour, only for new people to come up at the last minute and try to act like there was no line. So then me and the 2 girls I waited most of the time with decided to make a line. That ish did NOT matter. MAC opened the door and it was like back to 1998 tickle me Elmo Black Friday again.... Instead of MAC accepting what we were offering which was all of us in line ready to go one by one, they said out loud to pick your artist and they'll get your items. WTF DID WE WAIT FOR THEN? There was about 4 people who didn't get their items because someone AFTER them got to it first because of MAC's great idea. So I ended up just buying one of everything limited because it was a real MADHOUSE RUSH. I couldn't even swatch until after purchasing. To top it off the store hired freelancers who didn't know what products were what - so in my head I'm thinking "If you make me miss out on that blush because you didn't update yourself this morning on what was in this collection I'm going to curse at you." So when I did swatch I found a few things out: Diamonds ccb is gorgeous on lighter skin. IMO it's too light and frosty for nc45+ Who's that chick I absolutely hated. It's a very goldy orange on nc50. Too retro looking for me. Put some chestnut around it and it's welcome back 1992. Talk that talk is gorgeous! So is nude, which sold out first. I can honestly say after seeing it now that nude is a brown girl color. The few lighter skinned ladies that I saw try it said it's either too dark, too gray, or too brown for them. Some girls were saying night moth is sooo close to talk that talk but I don't see it. It's more purple to me. I see the similarities but I still had to have ttt liner. The bad girl gone good is nice on paler faces and yes it is warm, but beautiful. On nc50 and darker it seems powdery on application but as it wore it turned into a nice peachy color. If you have coppertone or the one pro burnt color (can't remember the name), I'd say skip it. Hibiscus kiss I had to get for the packaging. That powder I don't want at alllllll. Its better quality than the one I have from RIRI summer but it barely shows on me so that's going to be depotted and sold so I can add my fix powder or careblend powder instead. Overall the brushes are much better than most of the SE ones released in the last year or so. I'm surprised I really LIKE them. The brow pencils blah. Eyelashes blah. Quads blah. The RIRI pencil I skipped too. I think MAC could've done better than that red considering there was just 2-3 red plw pencils released not even a month ago. RIRI woo is another one that I'm somewhat annoyed about. Why not add something new that people could be excited about? I'm getting sick of RIRI everything now...I'll stop before I get more into what I really feel lol

I'm cracking up because in my pics of WTC, you can see a stain around my lips. I tried TTT on right before and it stains. I was in such a rush to take pics and unwind that I said screw it and kept it moving. The camera really picked it up. Looks like I was messy with a jelly sandwich or something. Oh, well. :lol: WTC

Aww thank you I have not gotten use to the street names so I always try to remember the areas. lol I feel sily now lol
