So do you have any other info about this amazing lavender set that I will be robbing a bank in order to buy every last available one? Or will my impatient ass have to wait longer to find out anything else? xDThe one with the red lipstick is MSO, and the lavender set is Nordies only.

Didn't know if you had any idea on color names or anything like that. I'm pretty annoyed with MAC over this whole thing, less than 2 weeks away and still no idea on the color story.

so this morning i got my invite to my MAC store's Divine Night launch party...here is the pic on the invite..sorry if its a repeat! I made an appointment to get my makeup done ...hopefully there is something I like..I'm usually more in the natural collections like Apres Chic and Naturally but we'll see ...
PS . will there be any single eyeshadows that are regular?? i hate extra dimension...

This is some poetry I can get behind! I knew that f/l was going to be coming home with me. Now I know it's gonna have BUs and BUs. That is one of my all time dream colors for liner, especially a gel I can do some great wings with. HUBBA HUBBA!
Yeah, my MA was hating the promo materials, saying it was Revlon 1985, lol. Those were the days when Revlon was at its worst, that's true at least.
I am up for more Color Saturation - that's one of my all time favorite csgs! If they bring back Strong Woman, I will be jumping for joy!
The MBs from the past two years, especially those Naturally ones, were so glorious! Even Tropical Taboo, where the MSFs and MBs were back to being metallic city, were orders of magnitude better than the shimmery ones of days past - they never ever accentuated my pores. I've actually been wearing Sweet Samba and Exotic Ember more than ever lately - they're perfect for Indian Summer! Get compliments all the time! I love the MES too, because I like the sheer washes of color. There have been matte textures MES in the past (those 3 strip ones from In The Groove) and even some those had a nice effect, like semi-sheer matte - I wish they'd bring that type back. In some ways, MSFs are the ones I wind up using the least, since I don't always reach for a lot of mine…the few I really love, I do grab all the time though. I still buy a ton of 'em and it's looking like this collection will be no different.

Ooooh!! That purple fluidline... I will want that! As for the MES I agree they can be a pain to work with but it's also true that sometimes they give a very beautiful wash of colour. I only have Tropica and I love the duochrome effect. If the MES is purple I may end up getting it...

Well if this collection has a lot of purple it definitely narrow down my list. I love purple but it does not love me, it takes a ton of extra work and require my skin and the rest of my makeup to be FLAWLESS. And thank you so much liba for the suggestion of using the fluidline under the eye. I have a few purple liners that I do that with once in a while, so I don't want to spend the $$ on another product that will hardly get used. And I've been realizing as well that red based purples are better for me than blue based, maybe cause my eyes are blue... It's so hard skipping purples cause they are so beautiful and look amazing on so many people, but for me they get tested once and then collect dust.

Well I'll probably getting any purple products for eyes (my eyes are green) but purple lips in still unsure about. My first purple lippie is Violetta from the Antonio Lopez fuchsia palette and I was a bit hesitant to wear it but I was complimented on it! I see myself buying quite a few things from this collection...

not sure what i should do....Since the Collection is launching October 17th and the invite that i got for the launch said oct 18....so i booked my makeup appt then. Does release date vary by store/location. Im just scared that the whole color collection will be sold out on the 17th .. maybe my store is releasing it a day later

I always find the bulk of these holiday collections at the CCO, even when popular products sell out. Then, the products just sit at the CCO for over a year, lol. Sometimes I just like to bypass MAC holiday collections and wait for the larger spring launch as well as smaller launches. They always sneak in those great collections like Iris Afel early the next year.

i actually just spoke to a mac associate from my store and they told me since the Divine Night event by me is all weekend they are getting A LOT of products to last through the three days so no worries...hope shes right !
