I much prefer to do that. At least we have a chance....It's not so difficult to stay up a bit later if needed....but these noon/mid morning weekday launches are stupid and unfair if you ask me...and throw in a waiting room too.

I am expecting another waiting room for next RiRi collection...but if MAC starts using the waiting room for any other collections...I will throw my makeup addiction cash at another company lol.

Yeah, at 8:15 PST, so it was really close haha. But, I think that was a part of why I couldn't check out. Their site was doing something stupid every time i input the gift card info. It would just take me back to the main page. That was in my e-mail. I told them I don't understand why in the world a mac gift card i got off of their website would not work on their website. Ridiculous!

i got up at 7:30 am my time to prepare...so i was ready for this...i never left the waiting room, so i now know all the Rihanna quotes by heart and i'm not happy about it...haha. By the time i finally got in, it was 1 something and just about everything was sold out that i wanted except for the her cocoa quad which i had been wavering on anyway...tried to click on that and got bumped back to the waiting room. Got back inside and it was sold out. Had it not been for my friend who agreed to pick up a TTT at her local MAC store last week when I called them and ordered over the phone, I wouldn't have anything. Going to "try" to get the Nude lippie and Who's that Chick on Thursday.

I aired MAC out on one of those FB posts as well. I just can't see how something like this would happen FOR THE THIRD TIME.

Unfortunately, like I said on the FB post, we can complain till we're blue in the face but it won't entirely change anything. For every 50 upset customers there will be 100 who have no idea what's going on and will purchase like nothing. I hate big business when you're the consumer. They care but they don't. All I see through those patronizing responses are "Sorry, not sorry."

I love the her cocoa quad I'm possibly getting some extras if anyones interested and talk that talk lip pencils no they wont be no crazy prices either lol they just back ups

I am a teacher, so I planned ahead for this collection. My lunch is over at 11:50pm EST, and I had an observation at 12:15pm. There was no way I could order at school. So, I had my sister on one computer, and her best friend on another computer at home to place my order. Both of them were on-line promptly at 12:00. Neither one was able to leave the waiting room before they went to work at 2:00pm!!!! There is no free standing store or MAC counter by me. No Nordstrom, No Dillard's or Bloomingdales. I hope and pray these items become available on those department store websites. I called a Nordstrom near the Detroit area, and they acted like they were unaware of it being on-line. All I wanted was the NUDE lipstick and TTT l/s. So sad right now!!!!

I hardly doubt it, if stone is not available on the mac site that means its not in stores online or stores. If its at CCO, it has already been discontinued since I have bought some already there. Also, customer service is unable to locate this item even through the goodbyes section on the mac site. There has been rumors of it being discontinued for years and it may be still available at free standing stores only and pro stores, which is true until the sell out of their stock and will no longer be manufacturing it. Stone is one of my staples, if it was still available, I would be umm totally happy.

I swatched Talk That Talk lipstick and compared it to my deep purples when I got home. It's close enough to the others to where I don't feel I need it. I wanted to swatch Nude but that one "walked off" as the MUA put it. I also swatched the frost lipstick, but I'm not into frosts.

i dont want mac to ever do a collection with someone a like. no f -ing way! i dont like rihanna but i somehow told myself that it was for the colors so yeah i got some stuff. i dont give a damn about her or her packaging. so i guess im lucky i was able to get 3 things. i feel bad for her crazy fans who didnt get anything. now they are going to haul the permanent stuff just to have something that says riri with that crappy R.

dont say a Beyonce collection would be better or classier. it would just be the same crap, cause its with mac!

if mac did a collection with someone i liked i would probably be crying right now for missing on things.
