I really like this collection....I loveeeeeeeeeee bold colors

OK, I have finalized my list and I'm just waiting, hoping and praying that Shoppers Drug Mart gets this collection so I can use up some optimum points!

- Eyeshadow palette (I might end up regretting this due to pigmentation issues, but the packaging is calling my name)
- Meteorites pearls (non-negotiable since I collect them)
- Meterorites illuminating compact (not that I need any more powders in my life!)
- Rouge G lipstick
- Rouge Automatique in Illusion (really hoping it turns out to be a purple plum instead of a red plum)
- Both nail polishes

And the black packaging is to die for too!

I do love the compact powders, but that's it ( good news for my wallet lol ), if you like the black and pink packaging, well it's worth the splurge !

Thanks for posting the link! I love the shiny black packaging, but I don't understand why is there an orange accent on the Rouge Automatiques if the lipsticks are plum and pink. Idk but I think that should've been pink instead.

Potential wishlist:

One of the Rouge Automatiques: Illusion or Reflex (whichever is more unique but who knows, I might get both)
Le Petite Roibe Noire Shimmer Spray *birthday gift for me *
Either the meteorites perles or the pressed powder (I'm slightly leaning more the perles but I'll wait for a review)
Sulfurous nail polish (maybe)

I totally agree. It's odd that the button is orange when the colours are completely different and that doesn't even fit in with the rest of the collection.

When I said poor taste, I was not wrong I fear. But some items are very pretty, so.... let's see it in person, today I purchased my second Madame Rougit with 20 % off, backup ! The Fall collection is gorgeous, I still don't know if I'll buy from the Holiday one but as you said, orange/pink ? Well, I don't like it either

I forgot to mention that I got Madame Rougit and Madame Batifole last week. I don't have any pigmentation problems with Madame Rougit. It's a beautiful coral. Madame Batifole is my first Rouge G. The colour has so much depth it's gorgeous! I love the formula too and while the packaging looks amazing it is kinda heavy, but I can deal with it.

How did u get 20% off? I considered madame rougit but the reviews seem to be so so for it to be so exp!

I debated madame rougit forever. I fingers watched it in store and had no pigmentation. But a lot of reviews said you had to try it with a blush, so I took the plunge and ordered it. It is really gorgeous. I don't have any pigmentation problems. I don even use my "low pigmentation blush brush". The color isn't ground breaking, but it's done very well, and the finish is very very nice

Illusion is calling to me. I don't have any Guerlain products yet, so I may check out the Rouge Gs in person for the first time this weekend.

These are just my opinions, but for what it's worth...

1. I find that Attrape-Coeur is a little more practical. There's a greater range of tones, which makes it easy to use all the shades together, without reaching for something else. Les Violets is lovely, but most of the colours fall into the mid-tone range, so there's not as much flexibility to them. I think you'd always have to include at least one colour from outside the palette with Les Violets.

2. I find that they're different enough. They look quite different in use- more so than they do swatched. I bought both and have never regretted the decision.

3. In general, I find them extremely impressive. They're extremely long-wearing and resist creasing . The colours don't tend to get muddy on the eye, which I appreciate. I do find that I have to go easy on the frost finishes, because they can apply fairly heavily, but they blend out nicely as well. Definitely among my very favourites and the value for their 4-shadow palettes is not bad at all for a prestige brand.

Neon's fine, but the rest of the products have neon pink on them, so that's why I don't get the orange since none of the products are actually orange.
