It's not necessarily a knock on Mac because I don't require my makeup brands to be classy, but come on. When I think classy I think Chanel or Guerlain or YSL. Mac is in the corner of the seedy club with Urban Decay. Nothing wrong with that, but no one should be surprised that Mac would be as happy as a pig in s--t to collaborate with Rihanna.

Oh, I know what you mean! MAC is really good at what they do, but they are the end all be all.

SORRY if I someone already responded to this question but did anyone of a darker tone (nc45 or nc50) get the diamonds ccb?? I have been trying to find pics for swatches or a youtube video but it seems like no one of that shade has it. I just want to know if its something that I should skip over for tomorrow.

Okay so I'm still trying to decide what I want to get from this collection!!

I bought Nightmoth earlier this week and I LOVE it so I'm happy with that in terms of pencil..

But I think I want Talk That Talk lipstick... Do I?! I have Prince Noir, Sin, shades like that... Is this something I will love?? Worth the extra money!?

Also really loving the way Nude looks on the super pale skinned gals (I knew it'd look beautiful on WOC because it's all inspired from Rihanna) I've seen which is leading me to believe it's actually quite a more universal shade after all!!

So what are the cloest dupes to it?? How does Hot Chocolate and Viva Glam II compare?? What's the cloest dupes?!
I struggle believing Temptalia's dupes etc because for some reason shades never look remotely like they do on me.. haha!!
Help me beauties!! hehe <3 =) Xx

Seems to be hit or miss. My SA was nw50 and it looked great, some nc50's said skip. It looked fine on me, whatever my skintone is lol.

I'm NC45 and a MUA tried it on me in store and I loved it a lot, to my surprise. That's the main reason why I am still on the hunt with this collection. I think it's definitely worth getting When I told the MUA at Bloomingdales today that I want Diamonds she recommended lustre drops. She then said I know you probably want Diamonds because Rihanna and I just stopped her by waving my hand and saying no, she's a non-factor. :lol: I don't like her and I don't like that big ass R on everything. I want the product. Hell, I like Jennifer Lopez even less, but if this was her collection, I'd still buy up all the pieces. I'd only boycott if there was something behind the collection that I thought was just beyond the pale. Someone actually offensive. It was just funny to me that she thought I was in the Navy. Girl, no. Not even if I was 19.

That Video is a bit much eh?! Although It's what I was expecting, there was a video doing the rounds a copule of days back and it was one the pole dancers auditions - Yes it's OTT but my word the girl in the Audition is quite an athlete - she was actually standing on the celing at one point and that takes serious skill what ever you think of pole dancing :) So for that credit where credit is due but how long can Riri keep the whole S&M vibe thing up ... Yawn!

Mac hits the stores here in France tomorrow, I have a MAC down the road from me and This'll be my first big launch since I moved here, I get the feeling it won't cause quite the same stampeed as in the UK or US but I am still gunna be there before opening. I am hoping for Riri Woo and Diamonds for sure. I have pale skin, I can wear both NC and NW20, Blue Eyed and Fire Engine Red hair so not sure how Nude will look on my but will be swatching. I am so on the fence about TTT & the TTT lip pencil. I have Fixed on Drama and it looks great, hard to work with as I have teeny, not very plump lips and it matches one of my sephora liners beautifully so not sure how different TTT can look on me? Hmmm ...
