Sex being used to sell music is as old as time. I don't mind it at all. In fact, I enjoy seeing women do their thing in their leotards and all that stuff. I just think there's a right and wrong way to do it and it's always nice if you feel the person doing it chooses to and doesn't have to in order to be successful. It's also nice when someone isn't being vulgar for the hell of it. When that happens it becomes old and tired and the real shock would be if they put their clothes back on and worried more about their actual music. There's too many singers nowadays that can't actually sing. So then what good are they? What will they do when they're 40 and they're stuck singing stuff like Pour it Up and all these other stripper anthems? Are we really going to be listening to this 15 years from now they way we can dust off records from the 80's? I think not.

Me too! I would lock her up put on a chastity belt lol!! I don't mind sex being used I think women are beautiful and sexy it's why I love being a woman lol But I think the whole trashyness of it is bad. And all the drug references. I abhor drug references in pop music. That's what really sets me off. Not really any kind of displays of sexuality. It's not even about being a role model to me, it's just about how you're presenting yourself. I'm big on strangers not being role models. I just wouldn't dream of singing about doing drugs. That's just a hard line for me. I don't understand the party/drug culture that kids are so relaxed about these days. Do we need to bring DARE back? I feel like an old ass lady right now.
