I get what she's saying. There's a way to stay fashionable but appropriate at the same time. I wouldn't wear skinny jeans/pants for a long time because i thought you actually had to be skinny to wear them...but when i tried on my first pair i was shocked and proceeded to buy many more. You just have to make sure you wear your size and not squeeze yourself into something you have no business wearing. If it doesn't look right in the dressing room, It doesn't go home with me.

Agreed!!! I always have to try on my pants when I shop and if it's too tight and it doesn't good it's going back on the shelf.

truth is most overweight woman are always on Diet, so i dont see how trashing people that are skinny helps. like after all they are starving themselves as well.

Nope. I wasn't on my game when the collection launched and thought all the colors were permanent and I could just get it later. I'll find it. It reminds me of Revlon Wine Not and I don't have any other color comparable to it. I thought it would be like my other deep purples, but it's not.

I ordered FOD Monday from Nordie's, it's on backorder but supposed to ship next week. I think it's a must have too

Nordies has it up for pre-order now. I also went to my friendly neighborhood MAC store in Grand Central and the MUA told me it would be back in November. Not sure if it was just that store or all of them, but just FYI.

Not insulting skinny people at all. You misunderstand. It is one thing to be naturally skinny, but it is well known that the fashion industry takes girls who are naturally thin and pretty healthy and forces them into a lifestyle where they micromanage every calorie they take in and they have to resort to unhealthy ways of living in order to maintain a look below their natural weight. We clearly have a miscommunication here and that is where I'll leave it.

is ok. i got carried away cause shontay knew what i was talking about. but you shouldnt be saying how you like people to speak and all that. this forum has alot of people that dont speak/write english right, proper English (me included) so i feel like someone may not like a comment like that, or just be shy about communicating cause they cant spell or explain what they are want to say. That how i feel. Anyone can wear skinny jeans.... that actually fit. Its all about how clothes fit you. I carry most of my weight in my mid section so i know i cant pull off fitted tops or tops with cut out (unless i want my rolls hanging out). Some people just want to tell themselves its ok to walk around like that. Its not my cup of tea.

My order arrived today. I really like My Cocoa - I have lots of warm neutrals but none are dupes. I'm really glad I got the quad. I like Diamonds a lot too - it's not too dewy on me at all. I'll need to see it in natural light to see how glittery/sparkly it is, but it looks a bit like Benefit's Watt's Up in my bathroom lighting.

I kinda think you are being a bit sensitive here. I in no way was referring to language barriers, I was more so talking about people who know what those words mean whatever they may be and choose to pronounce or refer to them incorrectly.
