I am with you 100% on this Shontay.Sounds to me like she has an issue with bigger bodies. For that she can go to hell. I'm a big girl and I proudly wear my stretch, skinny jeans without my butt hanging out. These quotes here perpetuate the idea that many people have, that if you're skinny it's OK to wear anything. If you have a problem with tacky clothes then it should be a problem no matter the size of the person wearing it. The fat and ugly line really rubs me the wrong way especially considering the source. This is why they send human clothes hangers down the runway still.
I know a lot of people are hoping for this but there are two things that can get in your way if you depend on a phone orderI'm so nervous! SO, I called the MAC counter @ a nordies closer to me. They're not doing pre-sales but they said you can call tomorrow and place/pay for your order over the phone and pick it up whenever. She also said they only had 3 TTT and she wasn't sure how many nudes.
My original plan was to drive to this Nordstrom that's about 45 away (morning rush hour traffic may make it about 2 hrs total) and just try and be there first one there. My reasoning for going to this one was because it's in an area not as popular (yes I mean popular as opposed to populated) and when I dealt with the fashion sets fiasco, this place was extremely quiet. They won't let you do an order over the phone here.
Soooooooo.....should I stay home and take my chances with calling the MAC counter closer or should I drive to the one that will take me 2 hrs and hope nobody else is out there?
I know the Macy's where I live will not do phone orders at allI know a lot of people are hoping for this but there are two things that can get in your way if you depend on a phone order
1. Not getting through to anyone on the phone (busy line, busy SAs that don't pick up)
2. An SA that "doesn't think" you can do phone orders
I ran into a few of these when I called around today. I was annoyed. These were at 2 stores that I've done phone order from in the past so I knew it was rubbish
hopefully you will have good luck though!!

Yep I don't doubt it. But I specifically called stores that I have ordered from in the past and was told they don't do phones order at all. Its like the SA's must be sick of all of the RiRi calls. They just want to get off the phone.I know the Macy's where I live will not do phone orders at all
I thought they get commission? Or no?Yep I don't doubt it. But I specifically called stores that I have ordered from in the past and was told they don't do phones order at all. Its like the SA's must be sick of all of the RiRi calls. They just want to get off the phone.
Not sure. Maybe at some of the higher ends like Saks or Nordies. But I don't think so at Macy's, Dillards. But I honestly don't know I just made that up. LOL! I'm guessingI thought they get commission? Or no?
And even if they will, they'll only do it with a Macys card, unless you're in another Macys, then you can use a regular credit card.I know the Macy's where I live will not do phone orders at all
OMG how cuuuuuute! I want a daughter like that someday, and I'm not marrying nobody unless they support my MAC habit. Just sayingSad, I don't have hubby to stalk with me tonight!! The last time I really had to stalk was the fashion sets and hubby was the one that woke me up. "Baby it's up come on!" lol If the kids didn't have school tomorrow I would have let my daughter (7 yrs old) stay up with me anything makeup she's on it!! I let her have my palettes that i don't want or wear. So one day she does her eyes and I'm trying to get the eyeshadow off and it was really on there so i say to her "this eyeshadow is really on there", she returns "I don't know why I didn't use any primer" lol
Oh he does. He went last week Thursday and stood in line to get my TTT, Nude and other staples. He understands that the addiction is real! I handed him his list and he went on to the mall. I couldn't ask for any better.OMG how cuuuuuute! I want a daughter like that someday, and I'm not marrying nobody unless they support my MAC habit. Just saying
I agree. My boyfriend will be at macys & Nordstroms hunting down TTT for me since I can't leave work. I told him how bummed out I was I wouldn't be able to make it & he just said "can I go for you?" Lol, he'll probably be the only guy in there. I love him & for sure a keeper. He does think my makeup obsession is a little bit silly but he supports meOMG how cuuuuuute! its genetics!!! if i ever have a daughter, i wonder if she will inherit my makeup obsession LOLAnytime I take her to the MAC store with me she always leaves with something for free because the ladies are so impressed with her that she knows her stuff. Once it was a lip gloss another was her archie pin that she wears proudly on her jean jacket! Don't let her see a black box she takes a seat waiting to see what's coming out of it! lol
Consider ordering from Belk instead if they get any stock. They have come through for me a few times like the Marilyn situation.has anyone ever had problems ordering from nordies?? back when the MM collection came out they had the beauty powder up and let me checkout and it showed on my card as pending but still got a email saying it was sold out and took 5 days for them to release my money kinda hesitant to order from them when this hits the site
