my moms no stranger to the mac stores and counters hah i got her addcited to it back when i was 15 i asked for a black eyeshadow and we just happened to go the launch day of antiquetease and ever since shes switched all her make up to mac lol

and i totally agree is it bad that half the reason i want the stuff is the packaging?? lol

i almost feel like it was done that way on purpose because there stock was low so they kept some people out

I am glad I managed to get my hands on RiRi woo as the previous time it was released our country didn get it...Phew at least they brought in the Riri fall collection stuff, So finally i could get my hands on it..

Lol I wish my mom was into Mac ..only time she uses mac is when I give her something I don't use. Lol not bad at all!! I love the packaging !! I Already have hibiscus kiss from the summer release but got another for the packaging lol

nope, not necessarily, last wk i presale over the phone using my regular visa card not my macys card,  this location also had the collection for viewing. but the other macys near me dont even do holds for no collection not even permanent products, muchless presale not even in person.

i talked to the macys counter and they said theyre only allowing 1 item of each per person so i wonder if my bets are better there... the macys/bloomingdales/nordstrom are all in the same shopping area. not sure which to go to

thats how they do it over there for every and anyone for any collection. i didnt presale with anyone special just the person that answered the phone. but it must be picked up in person and i guess they will check the cards then. bloomingdales does that also, for anything not just mac.

Its strange that they don't even have the promo picture up on their website yet. I am starting to get worried that nordstrom is not gonna sell it online. I went to dillards website i think and they at least have the pic up.

I'm not questioning phone orders at all. It's the fact that they're doing it with credit cards other than macys cards. I was working the morning they introduced the new policy, as well as the day the policy was put into effect. The only time non-macys credit cards are to be used for payment over the phone is if another macys store is calling for the purchase, and the customer is standing there for I.D. verification. Otherwise only macys cards can be used over the phone, as I.D. lookup is used with the customer's drivers license number and verified with address confirmation. Otherwise anyone can use anyone's visa or mastercard and rattle off the number and rack up the whole store with search and send. That's why the implemented the policy. Just saying.
