What if they made the release info threads locked to members only (available after 50 posts) like the clearance bin? Just trying to think of a suggestion. I know we like helping each other out by posting availability & such up here.

I am quite new around here too and I read about the secret a couple of times. Out of curiosity and frustration from my cancelled orders, I tried researching about it from past posts. I dare not ask anyone around coz I recognize that this is a thing shared among those who truly deserve to know it. I was thinking hard from the clues and trying to formulate words and I found myself feeling silly about it. When I read through my backlogs, behold it's posted everywhere. Somehow, I felt disappointed. Not for myself but for those who worked hard discovering it and keeping it safe. It's just about respecting the institution you know.

I think if most want to keep everything a big secret, that's the only way to go. I'm from the 'It's all MAC's fault because there is never enough stock' school of thought and not because there are tons of 'guest' on-line when new collections go up.

Girl, I guess. I'm over this collection. And after seeing the packaging in person I wasn't even feeling it like that. I did want Nude, though, cuz it seemed so cute for fall, but I'll live. I have Nars to buy soon anyway. Also, Meltdown lipstick is an exact dupe for WTC. Has anyone mentioned this? On the lips/hand they look exactly the same.

I don't find that counter to be particularly helpful anyway.

Well, let me hush lol...I'm not even a long time member. I ran across this site years ago, but to be honest, whenever it popped up in my google searches it always took me to an old, old post and thread (probably because I was looking up info on DQ'd stuff). That plus the fact that (no offense) the site has a kind of early 2000's look to it, I just assumed it wasn't that active anymore lol. When I finally looked closer I realized it's still an active community and decided to join. Now I'm addicted!

UPDATE: it worked! i called the number on your receipt and tried that way. thanks for the info.

Let's just not discuss it at all anymore.

I can't wait to get my HK after hearing everyone rave about it! It would've been cool if this release they did the bigger portion of it the blush and the smaller portion the bronzer. I mean, not real cool because it's the same thing, but it would be an improvement. I want it for the pink shade. It should be here Tuesday. How embarassing, I'm going to have 5 different boxes for 5 products coming to me.

It's all to keep the hype up. Remember that video that was posted awhile ago with the guy from MAC who proud that it sold out so quickly despite all the issues with the execution of the release? I think it was for the summer collection. But yea, right then and there I knew MAC couldn't care less about its customers. But yet we keep coming back for more..

Lol come on guys... I don't see this "secret site" listed but I can guess which site it is ... Since I called customer service yesterday and was told it would launch at 9 am although thank goodness I stalk that site religiously so I got everything I wanted when they decided to launch hours earlier. Too bad they never even launched ttt or nude but my point to this is not to be mad at someone for just trying to help - after all its a big store so it's not too much of a "secret" lol

I called one of my counters just for the heck of it to see if they had one of my most coveted items and she said no but keep calling within the next week because some stores should be getting another shipment.
