I've been able to preorder items at this same store before too with no problem (Temperature Rising for example), but they wouldn't allow it on this release. They would allow preorders for the holiday collection though (I haven't done even looked at that one though).

The macys I went to was so unorganized. Everyone was lined up at the door inside the mall and an employee came out and told everyone to move to the door outside the mall. Well, when that happened, everyone in the back ended up the first one in line and everyone in the front ende up at the end. And to make matters worst, I was initially second in line and to find out there were only 2 nudes. They should do it like how the shoe stores do it when they release Jordan's. Have a designated area for ppl to line up. Give out tickets and allow 2-3 customers in at a time to check out. So it's fair. Smh. I agree, all mac counters should receive the same amount of each item. The macys had ZERO CCBs!!!!!! So I ended up buying a bunch of stuff I didn't even want.

You had to pay for it last night when you got the call or they were offered to the next person on the waiting list. I would have been HOT if I came to pick up my stuff and something that I already paid for was missing. But you follow me around the store for a good 15 minutes over a lipstick was creepy as hell!

oh no don't say that! what shade of mac are you? I'm NC 42.. I haven't received my HK yet but I hope I won't have the same problem!

I don't know as I've never been color matched for a MAC foundation before. I did take a stiff brush (at the recommendation of some lovely Specktrettes) and used that to kinda rub the top layer off and it works great now!

Well.. I just purchased Diamonds from somebody for $35. Whatever... after it being thrown out of my cart in the waiting room and 7 cancelled Nordstroms orders plus not being sure on it being restocked I figured 35 is a better deal than 50 and up on ebay!

That's not bad considering shipping, taxes....and the effort it took to get these items. I wouldn't call $35 robbery. Well to be honest, I wouldn't call any price robbery if people are willing to fork it over. Unless your MAC bag is being snatched at gunpoint then it's not robbery. Any price you agree to was worth it enough for you to agree to it lol. Hope you love it though and glad you're finally getting your hands it.

Has anyone else's UPS tracking still not updated from your Nordstrom order?? This is annoying, I am going out of town Wednesday and now I probably will have to wait until I get back to get my items. :-/ My Macy's order should be here Wednesday.

I totally agree it's very reasonable :) I just didn't wanna pay $50 or more, but I'm glad I am finally done with this collection. I now have everything I wanted, except her cocoa which I am going back and forth on :/

Oooh wait my Macy's order came just now! Well at least I have that, and one of my Nordstrom order's just updated to be here Wednesday, maybe the others will by some miracle get here then too....slowly but surely. Hah!
