I know my thoughts exactly--it looks really pretty. Like a perfect neutral palette. Except, I probably won't wait for swatches, lol.I kinda like the colors in the es palette...uggh, what did I say earlier...wasn't going to pay$$$$ that for it. I'll wait for swatches.

Yep! I only do neutrals with some dark blues sometimes. But yes, this palette does look like some of my favorite shades. darn it

Right there with you. I'm really not a fan of a lot of bright colors--like green, purple, teal. I have palettes/shadows in some of those colors--but I never use them. It's just not me.

Once in a while, I might do a bright colored eyeliner--but that's all. Never shadow really.

Why oh why does accent look so different on me. I want to try to retake my pictures. I'm starting to see a hint more of the mauve tone. But not a lot. I saw the most of the mauve/pink I have ever seen in my 'studio lighting'--but it still looks mostly brown on me.So I had La Precieuse ls on & then applied Accent blushWhat a match made in heaven...going to BU the blush too

It does look very different on you on your blog. TF Orchid Haze looks more brown on you than on, say, Cafemakeup, and Radieuse looks warmer on your skin than on elegant-one's, too. Hmmmm. Yeah, I have very fair skin, with yellow undertones. When I went out in the sun, I saw orange brown. Even in indoor lighting I can't see much pink. But in my "studio lighting"--which I don't like to use unless I absolutely have to--I saw a little mauve/pink. I don't know if it's changing tone the more I use it or something? I'm planning on trying to take more pictures and seeing if I get different results. I set the white balance on my camera the same way every time, and have to do very little to no color correcting--so I just don't get it.

The only thing I can think of is that I'm taking my swatch pictures outside in full sunlight, while I'm pretty sure Cafe Makeup usually takes their pictures in 'studio lighting' and I'm guessing that Elegant's pictures were taken inside as well. Could totally be wrong though. My Orchid Haze swatches look closest to Makeup Magpie's:

At last! I feel like the only person who is excited about this lipstick and swatches have been impossible to come by. Looks gorgeous. I'm going to get it.LA Precieuse - Gorgeous slight pink red. While probably not completely unique, the color is just gorgeous on, the texture is so silky & it makes your teeth look really white.
