Very flattering look! Lovely!I picked up Reflexion and Controversy yesterday. Going to have to go back for some of the lipsticks as well. This really is a lovely collection and I'm glad most of it is being made permanent. I did manage to get the last Reflexion at that particular counter and I noticed that Controversy was sold out at another counter I frequent. Guess the glosses are popular.
Here's a pic of Reflexion on me. This is at the end of the day, so it's not the freshest looking application, but I do love the colour. I got a comment from the MUA at my Armani counter about it, actually...
Ambigue is limited, but long-term limited like Rouge Noir lipstick. So it should be available for a few months before going bye-bye.I picked up:
- Farouche lipstick
- Ambigue lipstick
- Rose Moire nailpolish
- Chanel nude liner
I love these 2 lipsticks! Ambigue is really pretty and goes perfectly with Chanel nude liner. The SA had me use this liner when I tried these 2 lipsticks. I used to have this one and loved it so I decided to buy it. I'm wondering if I need to back these up. Chanel.com lists Ambigue as limited but the SA told me the opposite. I think Ambigue is kind of unique. I still need to get: Enigmatique, Impulsive, Audacieuse, Reflextion gloss, Rouge Moire nailpolish, red brown and vivid pink lip pencils.
Yes, it looks wonderful on you. I was just thinking they were moisturizing as well. I was going to wear Ambigue today but was rushing and couldn't lay my hands on it so I went with Farouche. Love this one as well. Enigmatique is next for me too.I decided to get Ambigue. I love it, its perfect for fall. I think I will get Enigmatique next. Is anyone finding the Rouge Allures from this collection more moisturizing than the original ones? I feel like my lips are less crispy than usual
I just swatched them side by side. No, I really wouldn't call inpulsive fuchsia. It does have some slight pink undertone & is a bit warmer but on me its redder than LP. LP definitely has a fuchsia base & your right it is a bit brighter. Geesh, I hope that makes sense. They swatch a bit differently on the skin than how they look on the lips.So elegant-one, I am reading on MUA that Impulsive is a "fuchsia for warm-toned skin". Would you agree? Which do you like more between Impulsive and La Precieuse color-wise? I know one is shimmery and the other is a matte velvet (and looks brighter), but are they in the same color family or not really?
