Exactly!!!! this is so ridiculous!!! If they keep doing this might as well make pro membership free or I won't even deal with pro membership anymore and not mess with mac too much.

Yep, it is. I was sitting there feeling so frustrated and irritated about the whole thing. All of a sudden, it just clicked. I remember having this feeling before. I can happily say that I don't miss him one bit! Now just think "clearance bin". Hmmmm........

I'm going to try to check it out today if my MAC store has a preview. I am probably only getting a couple things if that, not really excited about it.

They can kiss my !@@. I did end up calling and got the same story. I told her that MAC is really starting to feel like that jerky boyfriend that you know you should break up with, but who was so good in bed, it kept you around longer than you should have stayed. Now they are the jerky boyfriend. But there comes a point in time when enough is enough. It's time to take out the trash!

I'm glad I got a cancellation notice for my order this morning. Now I don't have to take any further steps to give Mac their stuff back. :haha: I'll wait and see EE and YGI in person Thursday. No one's raining on my parade about that Nars collection. Temptalia and Karen's pics of it are beyond gorgeous. Can't wait for that. I had broken out of the habit of hauling Mac because it's Mac and I had a relapse last night.

I was on a no buy for about a day there, then I relapsed too. Dang MAC and their purple lippies, I can't quit 'em either.

I'm waiting for the Nars collection to drop as well. The purple eyeshadow is calling my name. the Laura Mercier Artists Palette 2013 is gorgeous. Buying it and Hourglass Trio. Mac is going on the shelf for awhile....

They told me that corporate is trying to figure out if it's going to apply or not

and I told the lady am I going to have to pay for shipping as well if it doesn't apply. She said yes or you can make an account for free shipping or spend $150 for the free shipping (like it's suppose to make everything better).

What really pi$$es me off about this whole "waiting for corporate" BS is the email that clearly states "Pro Discount Available." Maybe corporate should have put a halt on the auto-generated email, so they would at least have a leg to stand on. At this point, we have communication from MAC stating it is available and the reps don't even have confirmation from corporate? Can we all say A$$ BACKWARDS?!?!

Yes, I was told a credit would be issued as well, but only AFTER they received corporate approval that these items were Pro Discount eligible. It also took some serious "workarounds" because I placed two orders. My second order I placed without logging in, so that I would at least get free shipping. The rep had the NERVE to tell me she couldn't credit that one. After a few choice words, and a few conversations she had to have "with her supervisor" I am assuming they figured it out, but I won't know for sure until I actually get a credit.
