Yeah, that's how I feel too. My cheeks are normal so it's not oil making it fade away. I've tried mine 3-4 times - enough to confirm that it's not going to go into my rotation.
I have oily cheeks and think I will stick to my tried and true powder highlighters over creams from now on. I'm going to try and find some use for it though or see if my sister wants it.

My almost 12 year-old LOVES makeup. Every single time I'm in my bathroom and she comes in she starts rooting in my drawer. She already has a ridiculous amount of MAC because it's her fourth year on a synchronized skating team so she gets the blush, lippie and 2-3 e/s to match the team each year. Plus she's gotten a few items I've purchased that aren't quite right on me (Cream Soda blush, Star Wonder MSF). Yesterday I gave her my NARS Danmari palette because I almost never reach for it. Her eyes just about rolled back in her head. I told her that she now has more blush than I did until I was almost 30 and that if she takes care of her powder products they'll be fine through her teens. She's meticulous, so I don't doubt that she'll keep them pristine.

I have the Archie's brush set for her (more than fine for a kid) and the Antonio Lopez nude lip palette set aside for Christmas. I've told her that she'd not allowed to wear makeup (other than gloss and very pale lippies) until she's 13 unless it's to perform, but I keep finding her floating around the house with faint blush and e/s. She always tells me that she's 'just practising' and 'only wearing it around the house'.

I'd likely be more annoyed if I hadn't been EXACTLY the same at her age.

My daughter is only 6 months old but she loves it when I do my makeup in front of her, she just keeps smiling and laughing and "talking", I can't wait for when she's older and I get to share this with her (if she likes it, if she's not interested in makeup I will be disappointed but still a happy mom

Do you like the EDSF formula? Or liquids like Lustre Drops?

I haven't tried the EDSF formula yet, just the regular ol' MSFs (which I love) I am eyeing Shape the Future and Definitely Defined on the Macy's site though. I wanted to try the Lustre Drops with Barbados Girl, but I missed it and haven't tried any of them yet.

If you can, do try STF it's really the nicest colors ^^ (spoken by someone who has a good collection of MSF to choose from lol)

Thank you, it does look quite gorgeous in swatches I've seen. I'm still trying to get over the fact that Macy's is charging almost $10 for shipping at the moment. LOL

Shape the Future will work as a blush, too. You should try it out. I'm not too keen on the liquids either. Powders just seem easier to work with.

eta: Uh, no to the $10 shipping. It's not that serious. Do LiveChat with Nordstrom and have them check store inventory. Item #687313.

Riri Boy + Rihanna Nude = Hot Chocolate. I wish I had my camera to post the results. The trick is you gotta balance the ririboy when you mix it together. Riri Boy is the berry that I was looking for that was missing in the Nude lippie. I promise you I am correct and tripped out lol... I swatched Hot Chocolate and then next to it I put two swatches of riri boy and placed the Nude on top until I saw them match completely. If you find yourself with too much berry color just use less of riri boy and more of nude. I will be keeping my nude. Now I want another nude.

You're awesome MissTT, thank you. I actually laughed out loud at that 9.95 shipping, Macy's is proud of their bubble wrap or something.

Ironical since they are the main ones who break shit, I am still pissed about By Candlelight MSF. Who the hell puts an MSF in a ginormous box with no bubble wrap or anything? Then when its sold out and you can't get a replacement, tough titty. They are always my last resort. Nordies has free shipping right now and they pack up stuff great.

Oh yikes! I've only ever bought from them in store, I'll try to avoid ordering from them online now!
