I think the split 179 is my fave brush atm. I use is for MSFN. It feels soooo soft on my face!

I love that brush so much. I blend all my blush with it. I love the angle and size, which fits my face really well. I wish they'd bring it back someday.

Dark Dare for sure! It's the very best EDES they've put out, primarily because it's the only one with the "Glow" texture. It's a more satiny texture that's extremely versatile - applied dry it goes on dense and nearly matte. Applied wet, it gets shimmery. It's very easy to apply it so it's very dense and velvety and opaque but it's also very easy to sheer out a different ways too. I'm not really that crazy about Magnetic Nude's EDES based on the colors, but if any of them are marked "Glow", they're an insta-buy for me!

Zestful is my #2 personal EDES favorite, because the color is unusual and it goes very well with the texture. You will love Smokey Mauve if you like a really sexy, smoked eye, because it's not super dark, but the color + texture give a lot of depth, without having to use many other products with it. I prefer Triple Impact to Opalesse, because it's more of a violet sheen than straight pink.

I love that brush so much. I blend all my blush with it. I love the angle and size, which fits my face really well. I wish they'd bring it back someday.
Ahh, now you have me all confused! I has Warm Thunder, Zestful and Opalesse in my cart, but they were all coming up different prices so I'm waiting to hear back from MAC. Thankgoodness eh? I choose Warm Thunder becuase I loved the dimension to shimmer, it seemed to reflect blues, greens and golds and I choose opalesse over Triple impact becuase Triple Impact looked sheerer and more glittery and I am not a huge Glitter fan. Did I get that wrong ... ? I wish they weren't so expensive, then I wouldn't be in a dilema over sticking an extra one in the basket! some are coming up at 22 Euro each so 88 Euro ($120!) if I add in Dark Dare in too - thats a big chunk of change!

Triple Impact is sheerer than Opalesse. That's ok with me because these very pale frosty colors don't always look that good on me - they look better on me when they're sheerer and let my natural skin show through a little bit. If you like something more pigmented, then definitely go for Opalesse. I own that one too, but now I wear Triple Impact more.

Warm Thunder is pretty - too cool for me, though. Dark Dare, being BLACK, is not a useful color for everyone, but if you wear black shadow, it's a top version.

Hope that helps!

I love Whisper of Guilt and Bareness! I wear them with my neutral looks. And I own 9 of the shadows. I just adore the formula so much! I def want to get more blushes. I only have Bareness and Fiery Impact. And I might get Superb this time around.
I wore at dusk and whisper of guilt today and fell in love all over again with the ED formula :)
Zestful is def a must! One of my favs! And Ready to party or Triple impact. They are very similar, so you might want only one. I still bought them both because of the slight difference, but I'm cray cray lol
I have yet to own any ED makeup, I just didn't think it was my thing and I had a bit of a MAC hiatus until Retro Matte but now I am all excited for Magnetic Nude I can still get hold of a ton of ED stuff still on the MAC website :) there is Firey Impact Blush then the follwing eyeshadows in the larger size - Warm Thunder, Dark Dare, Extra Silver, Triple Impact, Dimensional Blue, Opalesse, Zestful & Smokey Mauve, then the smaller ones from glamourdaze - Ready to Party, Tall Dark and Handsome, Evening Grey, Devine Blue and Stylishly Merry. I about a NW15/20 with blue eyes -I normally tend to wear warm taupes & bronzes or eye brightening shades (Like Jest). Anything you guys think I should snap up? They are expensive! 21.50 euro each!  I think my gut instict is telling me Firey Instinct, Opalesse and Zestful .... :wishlist:
Ooooo I love me some Mega Metals! I'm still sad about the ones I didn't get. I too wish I would have got them ALL. :(
I'm glad they are bringing back ED...but man, when are they gonna bring back Mega Metals! I still have regrets from things I didn't get from Peacocky! :crybaby:

Hi All! I am a newbie to Specktra and have been wanting to join for awhile now. My love of Mac dates back to the early 90's, when there was only one store in Vancouver (Canada) at the bay, and I had to drive an hour to get my Mac lipstick fix!  Fast forward to today--I have become a serious Macaholic (haha), with good friends in the industry and a supportive (even enabling) husband! This is all to say that I am really excited to find a makeup forum that lets me share my passion with equally passionate individuals! And I am SO excited about the upcoming Magnetic Nude collection!  Yes!
Welcome! Nice to have a fellow Vancouverite here! I also started my MAC addiction at The Bay downtown in the early 90's :)

I just noticed that the es swatches we saw are actually items from RR Holiday . I think that they are the two pearl fusion es pallette and eyeliners. That to me is good to kno. I couldn't figure out which was AA EDES which I want so bad. I may only end up with AA x 2 and maybe 1-2 more EDES depending on swatches and funds. I apologize if this was previously discussed.

Hey everyone in Spectra land! I wanted to introduce myself. I have been MAC obsessed since the Antiquitease collection. My two nieces always keep me in the know with what is going on with new MAC collections, but now I am moving away to a smaller city : ( so they suggested this site so I could be part of the makeup loving community! I will be so sad to not be 10 min from my pro store! I love neutral collections so I am excited about this one especially! I look forward to my new adventure!

Only Glamourdaze one I got was RTP. Think I was put off by the smaller size. So even in this collection imma take it easy on the shadows :nods:

You guys are making me think I should track Bareness down.
I would put Bareness in my top 5 favorite Mac blushes, and top 5 favorite blushes period. Like, I seriously love that blush because it is foul-proof. It goes with everything! For Mac, my list would be: 1. Cream Soda 2. Bareness 3. Legendary 4. Gentle 5. Flaming Chic For blushes period: 1. Rotonde from Nars x Pierre Hardy 2. Cream Soda 3. Bareness 4. Boys Don't Cry from Nars x Pierre Hardy 5. Nars Sin

I wore Fiery Impact today - I love what a natural flush it gives.

I'm not a fan of Zestful - I gave it away after trying in vain to make it work. It's just too Tink for me. The EDES combo I wear to death is A Natural Flirt (love) and Stolen Moment. Other faves are Sweet Heat (great for a sheer wash of colour in the summer) and Modern Pewter.

I'm still on the fence about Superb, but I can't wait for the new peach EDSF.

I looooove the perfect cheek!! But I find that the blush I reach for most is tremble by illamasqua, it gives me a pretty pink flush.

Extra dimension is my favorite skinfinish formula.
I love my Whisper of Guilt. It's the only mac product I bought a back up of, I bought the original the first time it came out and when they did a re-release I was super stoked so I got another because I know I will absolutely for sure use and love it.
I'm excited to see what the colors are for this collection. nudes are right up my alley since my favorite go to look is a natural one.

Looks like the 136 to me.
What do you think it is Erine?  I think I like the look of it.  It looks like you could use is vertically for a larger wash of color or horizontally for a more precise application.  I currently don't have any MAC face/blush brushes except for a 129se from a bazillion years ago.  I have been trying to decide what to get, but I just can't decide.  Edited to say:  Could it be the 136?
Aaah yes the 136, thanks twin! The number was escaping my brain! Mine is tucked away in a box so the number isn't readily accessible to me. It's definitely the 136! I wouldn't recommend it for blush tho, as you can get to big and stripey. I'd stick with the 129 :)heart:) or the 168 for blush, or for people with smaller features, the 116.
