You weren't doing anything wrong hun. For some reason (I've come to the conclusion it's the embossed design) these are a bit harder to get colour payoff right off the bat. So you just need to break the seal first, that's all! But any reason for you come around these parts more often! :wink:

You know, you go away for a weekend and then get sick for a few days and you miss so much! I honestly didn't think I would be interested in much from this collection, but the above products have me intrigued! This is definitely a "wait for swatches" kind of collection, but I may pick a few things up after all. I'm especially looking forward to seeing Fairly Precious and Our Secret.

Oh, I'm so glad I checked back in this thread and saw the color story! I can't wear EDES products after all due to the odor and the eye irritations the shadows cause, so I figured this collection would be a total skip for me. But I spy some things I might like, pending swatches!

And hm, as for the whole favorite blush talk a couple pages back, it's so hard for me to choose. But I agree with many of the choices mentioned. I have been loving Cream Soda. It's so easy to wear and very flattering and natural on me. I also really like Gentle and Early Morning.

I really wanted to play the blush game too but it is nearly impossible. Within one collection, ok, but to choose just 5 blushes is a nearly impossible task for me (but fun tbh). It all depends on my mood and season too. My top 5 now can be different within a few months or even tomorrow. The problem is I keep buying blushes, falling head over heels with them, then grabbing something I bought earlier, falling head over heels with that again. I wish I had 20 cheeks...

I really want to join in but my list is made up a little differently.

The irony is that Specktra fuelled my blush interest. Before | joined lipstick was my number one weakness. Since Specktra blush is a very close second or split first place.

This might seem kind of random and even almost blasphemous post, but I think it was a few posts back that someone posted a picture of having hit pan on Superb and it got me thinking. I haven't hit pan on mine as I don't use it that regularly but I knew I had seen that type of grid structure somewhere and it was bugging me!

So while I was going through my stash looking for a duo, an eyeshadow and a blush that I want to depot, I grabbed my KIKO water eyeshadows and a light bulb went on! I took them and my Superb and EDES from last January and yes, they are a very very similar texture and shine.

You can read a review of them being compared to MAC EDES and Estee Lauder's Powder Gelee here and you can see a picture of the pan/grid here

The best part? This eyeshawos come in a truckload number of shades and are permanent! They cost 8,90€ and have 3g, though KIKO is constantly having sales so I grabbed them once when they were on sale for 4,90€. I personally love number 202, a mauve/taupe kind of shade for when I am feeling lazy: a wash over the eyelid, mascara and I am done.

Personally I am going to wait this collection out as I may be able to find dupes at a fraction of the price (yeah even for the EDSF and EDB)

Does anyone have a face shot of Superb on a fair skin? I l.o.v.e whisper of guilt and I keep thinking about trying it but I keep thinking I won't like it or it will be too dark. I have never seen it in person, so it's hard to judge.
