Actually, the drugstore e/s were copying higher end packaging of the 80s. Prescriptives, which launched in 1979, had e/s quads set up like that long before that layout showed up in the d/s brands. I still have one i got in the ? mid-80s ? of matte e/s ranging from deep plum to pink.

Anyways, I'm sad that the eyeshadows probably won't be good. I was hoping to scoop some eyeshadows up this go round. Hopefully I'll love the lippies. I need something to look forward to and be excited about in this collection!!

I take back that I like the packaging...why it the cap rose gold, but the bottom white? That's really ugly to me. It would have been better if it was all white. I was only getting a lipstick for the packaging, but now I'll probably pass on the whole thing.

Thank for this I will be at Pickering Town Center. They never fail me when it come to limited edition. The last Riri collection there was a lot of people, but I was third in line and got there at 9:15am.

I really like how this collection looks! the color scheme is my cup of tea this time!! Anyway mi list stays small: Pleasure bomb lipstick and Cockiness eyeliner.. the veluxe pearl fusion palettes look cute but I already have colors like that..

I was always only interested in the lipsticks and it really depends on the swatches. Pleasure Bomb and Bad Girl Riri. Never fell for the Riri woo hype. To close to Ruby woo to justify buy. Just my opinion.

The rose gold was definitely prettier. Now I'm mad that I didn't BU RRW in the rose gold

Not really too sure about the packaging yet. I like the fact that it's kind of different I will be getting all the lippies, eyeliners and polish maybe. I will be getting this online since now I won't be sick that day

I wonder why MAC didn’t just set their site up to do pre-orders for the RiRi collaboration this year. They would have determined the supply vs. demand and could have saved customers the headache of going through the dreaded online waiting room and standing in lines at stores with limited product. I would love to do a pre-order right now, pay for it in advance and wait for it to arrive at my door in December. Wishful thinking I guess. lol. I just think this whole thing could have been planned a bit better and would have resulted in a better shopping experience. I am glad it’s almost over.

The pink lippie...looks like party parrot muted or a brighter muted pink pigeon to me and I bet the nude is gonna be in the middle of E.E lipstick, and riri nude wit a touch of orange Carmel sand in tone...but I want them....wanna see swatches first and temptalia needs to upgrade a brown model to her site when she show lippie so ppl of color can get a better idea...just saying!
