I'm loving the packaging. I think it's really pretty
I guess that this option would be viable only if the items could be produced on short notice as I assume pre-orders are not done several months in advance. It would be an interesting tidbit to know, that is for sure!I wonder why MAC didn’t just set their site up to do pre-orders for the RiRi collaboration this year. They would have determined the supply vs. demand and could have saved customers the headache of going through the dreaded online waiting room and standing in lines at stores with limited product. I would love to do a pre-order right now, pay for it in advance and wait for it to arrive at my door in December. Wishful thinking I guess. lol. I just think this whole thing could have been planned a bit better and would have resulted in a better shopping experience. I am glad it’s almost over.

I think it's so cool how you still have makeup from the 80s. Don't know if you'd be up to it, but I'd love for you to show us sometime!Actually, the drugstore e/s were copying higher end packaging of the 80s. Prescriptives, which launched in 1979, had e/s quads set up like that long before that layout showed up in the d/s brands. I still have one i got in the ? mid-80s ? of matte e/s ranging from deep plum to pink.
That would be the logical thing to do.I wonder why MAC didn’t just set their site up to do pre-orders for the RiRi collaboration this year. I thought of that too and while it would be great for us. I don't think it would be so great for MAC. I think they would make less money that way, some of us buy more when we feel that there is a risk of it selling out. I was guilty of this when I purchased HK. It is a nice product but to be honest if I could have pre ordered it, I would have passed on it.I almost took it out of my shopping bag but I knew it would have taken too long with how slow the site was that day. Plus, since it is a collab with Rihanna, I think they need items to sell out fast and have long lines in stores. It looks better on her, I mean how embarrassing would it be for a celebrity to know their name didn't moved products as quickly or cause such a frenzy.I wonder why MAC didn’t just set their site up to do pre-orders for the RiRi collaboration this year. Buy it, try it, then return it!I notice not many people buy it but I didn't realize it was that bad! Maybe w it being promoted w Rih's name, people will buy it? /;
Packaging is still tacky but it the Pleasure Bomb on temptalia's website and it looks pretty nice. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

Doubtful, as the product is completely different.Is there any hope that the eyeshadow palettes from this collection won't suck? I am really loving her cocoa quad from fall. Right now I only want a couple of the ls, and I would get a palette if they were decent quality. I fear, however, that they will be horrible.
yep!well well well...what do ya know...RiRi Woo....UH-GEN(and to think folks went RiWoo crazy earlier this summer as if it would never be seen again) **mac sitting back laughin** GOTCHA!!! i was thinkin of gettin that rose gold liner but then i said to selfself...u have the rose pigment sooo i can pass!! im wondering if that fuscia lippie is like flat out fab or girl about town cuz thats the ONLY thing i'd be interested in. im surprised that other haunting color of a CARBON isnt pearlized in those gawd awful palettes **deep sigh** oooooh mac i really appreciate the savings to my budget.
