How did you end up liking Radieuse? I liked it when I tried it on in the store, but the lady totally talked me out of it! She said it washed me out. I was thinking it was a pretty soft nude lavender pink.
Sadly too cool-toned on me and just looks wrong, but not too light and I wish I could wear it. I think it's beautiful!

Does anyone have any information on the Spring Collection yet? I am looking forward to some pretty powders and eyeshadow palettes.

Has anyone tried the La Desiree lipstick? Is it appropriate for casual daytime or just night time? ARe the Rouge allure velvet lipsticks drying?

To me it's a night time, statement kind of lipstick, but really you can tap on the color with your finger to get more of a daytime stain kind of look. I find the Velvets somewhat drying, but YMMV. I don't wear them 2 days in a row for that reason. Actually I like to wear Chantecaille Lip Chics from about now until Spring!

I tried Accent again with a skunk brush tapped off before applying and it didn't bother my skin at all. I think what happened the first time was that the MAC 167SH (I think goat?) brush I used made the shimmer particles scratch/irritate my skin, or it could have been the brush altogether. My skin is very sensitive to physical irritation as well as various ingredients.

Ooh...but then what did you think of the color?

I bought la Desiree today - note for Australians, the Chanel SA said this collec is only going to be available at the top selling counters. I love it, but looking at it on, it seems very similar to NARS Afghan Red and MAC Sweet Succulence, both of which I own - oops. I can compare them at the moment though because I am away. The other rouge allure in this collection is very similar to Flamboyante from spring 11 - luckily I am still obsessed with that collection so I realised that before I bought it! I also picked up initiation, which is a very shimmery gold on me, and it's the usual great formula.

I just saw that Charming is available for pre-order at Nordstrom. It says it will ship out on the 28th. Trying to decide if I really want it or not.

Exciting news, ladies!

I pre-ordered the palette yesterday on Nordstrom, and paid for overnight shipping; my expected delivery date was for Tuesday 10/29. The site also claimed it wouldn't charge me until it shipped.

WELL!

I check the bank account today to see it was charged. Check my email and see that the item was shipped and is on the vehicle for delivery today! So Nordstrom seems to have in available at this very moment anyway.

Man I hope there are better swatches of the palette. I haven't gotten anything from this collection...everything seemed so promising in the beginning. And now I'm super disappointed.
